Christopher Tin is famous for stuff like this. He goes out of his way digging for these kinds of traditional lyrics and incorporates it in orchestral style. Look out for more of his stuff - angel city choir performed most of them as well so its better.

What a coincident it is!!!! Yesterday (Good Friday) our first rain season resumed after a long dry spell that everyone yearned for rain so that we can till land and plant for a bumper harvest.....and today I miraculously bumped on this song where aliens are singing about how happy we are now......this must be GOD working. Its a very good arrangement, first it tells of a story of a people wishing for rain - then it arrives in a heavy downpour, but it brings hope forth as with rain comes bountiful harvests - which what exactly happens after the storm subsides and the people begin celebrating for not only surviving the heavy storm but also the guaranteed bountiful harvest. So they begin wishing it again, for the future and the cycle continues - for the smiles of the people.
