What can I say... ... Fantastic review more accurate and well explained with beautiful lights and photo. Got mine. Customized with the Mohawk eagle pommel cap in honor of my grandfather a full bloodied Canadian aboriginal. it is a fast whip so be careful.

With all due respect to Gio, this is just a short handle bullwhip, no need to make-up new names. Just call it what it is. As for the end of the thong, it SHOULD have two strands in the core, namely the last two dropped strands, you NEVER plait a round braid without a core, unless you don't care about shape retention and density. The first few inches out of the handle and the last few inches before the fall hitch, should be plaited more tightly than the rest of the thong. Also, f he calls himself the Italian whipmaker, maybe you should too...

Thank you for your comment but before judging it would be always better to ask. Anyway two clarifications are needed. First reason: my Snakebull is not simply a "whip with a short handle". Snakebull is the name I gave because despite this whip has a short handle (about 10cm long partially hidden under the heel knot - it has a tapered shape rigth from the butt like the standard snake whip. Second reason, if the Snakebull is a simply "a whip with a short handle " for the same reason why do we keep still calling Target whip and not simply a "whip with a long handle" or "long handle bullwhip" ? Re."the end of the thong" thanks for your suggestion but I don't think I need it. The famous "last two strands" are inside the overlay like a core of it. You can't see them becouse they were cut and hidden under the hitch knots in order to give a better taper to the hitch knot. I hope that I'm clear in this.

@@giovannicelestewhipmaker I'm not criticizing the build, I'm sure it's solid. You're right, calling a long-handled bullwhip a target whip, is equally silly.
