Giovanni dell’ Agnola’s pianism and musicianship is sadly no longer remembered today, posting a few of his recordings on my KZbin channel should change that.
Posted solely for the artistic exposure of Giovanni dell Agnola playing Bach/Busoni Toccata, Adagio & Fugue BWV 564 The recording on the Fonit LP was issued in 1957. This recording probably originates from a live radio broadcast.

I am gathering information about him, seems he was born in 1912 had a Paris debut in 1933 and in 1971 he was the Chief of the Musical Section of the Conservatorium Giuseppe Verdi of Milan. More to come hopefully from people who know more about dell'Agnola than me.
