Giovanni dell’Agnola’s pianism and musicianship is sadly no longer remembered today, posting a few of his recordings on my KZbin channel should change that.
Posted solely for the artistic exposure of Giovanni dell Agnola playing Clementi Sonata op 26 # 3. The recording on the Fonit LP was issued in 1957. This recording probably originates from a live radio broadcast.

Bravo! This and his other recordings that have been posted are truly a treasure brought to light. There's not a routine passage anywhere.....everything is played with an effortless command and sweeping enthusiasm.
