It seems like it would make the giraffe have less anxiety about the move if a friend could move with it, like a racehorse. Herd animals can get really bad anxiety when they get separated from their herd.

They can’t move 2 of their herd at the same times because they can’t go to the same facility. They may be a little scared but they’re fine.

They took him to a Different facility a year later he was too young then he was only a couple months old.
