Part 3 of our road trip! We left our BNB in Girdwood, had breakfast with friends, found a cute market, then left for Potter Marsh and on to Wasilla. So many things to see and do!

It is a skiers paradise, it is so beautiful there. I don't ski so I would rather go in the summer when it is cheaper, lol.

U were only there a short time. Shame you couldn't have stayed a day or two longer. U should have seen how many hooks we had in our barracks rooms. Literally over 10. The Ski's and Snow Shoes we used were back from the 50s. Where I live there are several of the Book houses where people take books and return them. Its a wonderful Idea. I'm amazed how easy it is to get Crispy Cream Doughnuts there in Alaska. I know you have Doughnuts there in Fairbanks but do you have a Crispy Creams there yet? Alaska wouldn't be Alaska without Doughnuts!

I wish I had more time down there, I would have went to Kenai and Homer. I am really going to miss going this year. I can imagine how many hooks are in the Barracks. Those little book libraries are popping up everywhere here too, they really are a good idea. We don't have a Krispy Kreme in Fairbanks, and don't need one, LOL. We have plenty of good bakeries here now. You can actually get Krispy Kremes at the grocery, I think and some of the gas stations.

Hi Bears. It’s nice meeting some of Mary’s. None live in Fairbanks? I’m sure Mary feels great someone is showing interest in her. Thank you. I want to mention. Larry is having some issues at home people have mentioned. He has a hard time carrying a conversation, goes onto something else, goes silent, can’t remember what he says, may mention something out of text kind if uncomfortable for others. He gets headaches a lot. He’s going for head MRI plus for his abdomen. That’s been an issue. I go back home from NY 9/9. I just wanted to mention this because he mentions you at times and he doesn’t mean harm. May be depressed. Thanks for reading this and for your videos!😊 Lisa

About half of Mary's friends are here and half moved away. Some are down in the Anchorage area. I am so sorry to hear about Larry, I hope they figure something out. Has he got someone living close that can help? I may send him something soon. 😉

Friend, yes when she’s ready to explain. Potter Marsh is a stop we need to do on our upcoming trip. We’ve driven by so many times. McHugh creek is one of our favorites too.

Good morning Bears 🐻 Looked like another nice Air BnB. The bunkbeds location was a little interesting. I wonder what that room was originally? Those blinds are nice, you can still have privacy on the lower half while allowing light to come in from the upper half. Very nice overall. Mary, you should try driving on these road trips to get some good practice in and to help out your mom with driving. 😊 Do you carry bear spray? That boardwalk looked nice. I bet it took a lot to build it. Ohhhh Krispy Kreme is one of my favorites. You need one in Fairbanks. Did Mary have a date? Did I miss something, where was the second Air BnB at? Good Afternoon, I really was trying to reply to all of the comments this morning but that doesn't seem to happen anymore. 😅 I am thinking that the bunk room may have been a storage closet at one time or the laundry room. Kind of nice if you have little ones though. I had those kind of blinds in my last house in Michigan, I loved them, they also had a middle that you could slide up or down to control the amount of light coming into the room. Yeah, my fear got really bad, I don't know what is going on in my head, as much I as feel it's my responsibility to teach Mary to drive, I just don't want to be in that passenger seat. We don't carry bear spray, I use to always carry a firearm, but we usually are bear aware. We don't need a Krispy Kreme in Fairbanks, LOL 😨😅😋 The second AirBNB was in Wasilla, Mary planned it for her date. I am glad we stopped for the market in Girdwood, we found some nice places we wouldn't have known about otherwise, and Potter Marsh was a good stop for the weather too 🥰 Thank you, you have a great week too 🤗❤🌞
