I’m open to hearing opposing arguments if anyone thinks I’m wrong as that’ll just help me come to a better conclusion regarding this topic of Women and men posting provocative photos on social media. The dynamics between men and women on social media has made this extremely difficult to navigate. Women automatically want to equate things but most men know that they aren’t sexually sought after through provocative pictures posted online. The case is very different for women though, and I just wish women in general cared to at least acknowledge this difference between the sexes and empathize with how this dynamic plays out for men. I think women would understand this far more easily if men received just as much sexual attention from other women on social media But that isn’t the case so it’s convenient to ignore. I just want women to quit acting as if the type of photos they post don’t garner different levels of attention based on how provocative or modest they are. This is the one thing I think many modern women are often disingenuous about and I haven’t found content that lazy out clearly and in a way that even women that are obsessed with IG attention can understand. Part of it is due to some women desperately avoiding that they would have to admit that they enjoy sexualizing themselves for attention and deep down no it isn’t the same for men although they pretend that it is. . I know this isn’t the easiest thing for women to admit, it’s almost admitting you have a cheat code and no one wants to let go of a demo standard that benefits them. But until we can have an honest, good faith discussion about The differences between men and women and social media, this will always be an issue. I’m sure many couples deal with this and it’s hard to articulate these differences if both parties aren’t willing to discuss it in good faith. That takes letting go of pride and admitting to unflattering truths. So it’s basically Kryptonite to most people nowadays. Social media will be around for a long time and will always be a factor that affects relationships if honest discussions aren’t able to be had and unflattering truths aren’t acknowledged.
