i think for me, the answer to the toxic parent should be the same as the previous one. If someone is toxic and they're making your life difficult then maybe look at another option (as distasteful as it is) of exiting that relationship. Its like being dependent on a man that abuses you. this obviously goes according to how well they know their mom. If she is generally an unpleasant person that is solely toxic sure, but if she is going through something and isn't always like this, then I 100% agree with you girls.
