This story hits close to home for me. I don’t have cancer but I am an actress and my ex wrote me a play that I encourage him to write for years he insisted that I was his inspiration and the only one to play his leading lady and for his 30th birthday he was going to have a full read but he broke up with me and uninvited me and had another woman play his lead. Even after he said not having me would be a slap in the face, but he did it anyway plus he was also cheating on me with other actresses and tried to get with others who were discussed by him. I’m angry but I wouldn’t try to kill him, he’ll get his karma without my help

That's very much the truth. My wife was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. And anytime I tell somebody about her disease. The first thing that most people say is wow. You're a heck of a man. Because there's no way I could deal with that I would have left and it's like Jesus. You're a monster just because somebody gets sick doesn't mean they're different than the person that you fell in love with. I couldn't never leave my wife just because she's sick it doesn't mean that I don't love. Her I could never do that. I could never abandon my wife when she needed me the most.

THIS is why I can’t ever see myself ending up with someone ( the beginning part where her bf dumps her bcuz her diagnosis) very few men can handle nurturing someone, the care and help that comes with someone relying on you, they can”hunt and gather” aka go out and work to provide financially but if you get sick, they have no idea what to do. That is TYPICALLY a woman’s role 🙄. A lot of interabled relationships are where the man is disabled and the woman isn’t, very rarely have I seen an interabled couple where the woman was disabled or had a chronic illness that needed lots of care and the man was not disabled and was the one to care for her.
