My son has carried napkins, pads and chocolate for friends for years after this happened to a friend. He made everyone aware of it, even after other boys teased him. He wanted to help. I am so proud of him for doing that. He's even saved me. If all people could be so kind the world would be a wonderful place.

This is why I try to always carry extra pads with me. Most people who have periods have experienced this, including me. So if you ever are in this situation, you can ask others for help and in most cases they will be more than willing.

@@ianmbanda3196 Most have a good idea of roughly which day it'll start ( for example, maybe today, tomorrow or the next day), but still many have no idea due to an irregular cycle, or other medicines messing up their cycle (and a lot of other reasons). So....both. The answer is both. It definitely can come unexpectedly sometimes (for anyone).

FUN FACT & TRUE STORY: Having period stain is the most embarrassing thing a girl can encounter in public or in school cause sometimes boys bully you actually I got bullied when I didn't realize that my school uniform skirt got stained by mestrational blood my boy classmates keep laughing at me and i got embarrassed about it.

I remeber when it was exam time and I was in school. I live in a hostel and wasn't aware of the date of it but I was little afraid. So, whenever I sat on the bench,I pulled the skirt away from that place of period stain. And,at the last day it came. I wasn't aware but I have had pain in my stomach. I thought it is because of I didn't ate the breakfast. I have roamed the whole school and as it was the last day of the semester,people thought I played holi. But at the hostel,my warden told me about that. But thank god,it was in the lowest part of my skirt so,nobody noticed. I felt so thankful to God and my warden.😄

I was a trainee teacher last year at one school. When I was interviewing the principal, my period left a stain on the chair in his office. It's so obvious that I'm so shy and scared to tell anyone. Since I'm a trainee teacher. Told the principal and I cleaned it.. It was so embarrassing.. Told my father, you know what he said? "It's a natural thing. Every girl faces this.. Why u should be shy? Oh my gosh that did happen to me once but I'm really glad our uniform's skirt for girls are color red, I was walking with my mom and sister that day after school, but the whole time we were walking they didn't notice it since the blood was very similar to the skirts colour, dark red, but dang I was so shocked when we got home seeing blood in my underwear... It was a funny experience tho and I'm really thankful for the red skirt. Sheeesh
