This is why I carry extras. I’ve been in this situation before and I want to help anyone who is in this predicament. Men, if you see a girl or woman in a situation like this, you can also do the right thing by buying them one. Or if you can’t buy one, you can kindly let them know and offer to walk with them to the store to get them.

I was in this situation once. I was at university, but the school didn't have any and I didn't want to ask a professor. I found a project room with 3 girls and asked.. it was a little awkward, because they were foreign and I didn't know the right words in English. Luckily one of them understood immediately and gave me a pad.

This reminds me of a time my period came out of nowhere when I was using the bathroom. My mom literally ran through the restroom asking women if they had any pads. She didn’t seem to find anyone and I was freaking out. But finally she came across this pregnant woman, who happened to have one on her and she gave it to me. I was so relieved.
