POV: you had along day at school all you do is work their when you try to talk to anyone they give you weird looks and walk away. You hide your emotions at school b it if you didn’t no one would give a shit. When you get home you always hear your parents fighting and your siblings crying. When you go upstairs you run up and hug them pretending your fine and happy. You always cheer them up. They have no idea what their parents fight about. Their just to little. So you go to your room working all day. Your just to stressed to work today so you skip. You cry until you fall asleep you have suicidal thoughts. Your just to lazy to eat or take a shower. You have no motivation to do anything. And if you eat people will always call you “fat” “what a pig” “she always eats” “give us a chance to eat” “give the ants a chance”. You wake up after taking a nap and you remember you have to get groceries so you just put on a hoodie and sneakers. And walking down the stairs you see your mom crying full with bruises and glass on the floor. And your dad on the couch drunk and knocked out. You snatch the money that’s on the counter. And run to the store. Always thinking “what if I just keep running” “what if I never come back?” You always wanted to but you always think of your siblings “what will they do to them?” “What will happen to them?” And you just cry because your just weak. You just wanna give up. So after you get the groceries you open the door with dad smacking mom because the money wasn’t on the counter. You were horrified and said “DAD!!! STOP IT ISNT HER FAULT” and he smirks and says “ then what happened to my FUCKING MONEY?!!” and you say confidently “ I took it to get food” while tears coming down your eyes. And he grabs you by the wrist and chockes you as hard as he can and says “ Oh yeah tuff guy? I was gonna use that for something else..” and your siblings cry while watching. While your mom grabs a pan and hits him. You gasping for air and says “let’s go” and she nods. Your siblings pack all their toys they don’t have nice clothes their dad spends all the money on drugs and beer. You guys are finally done packing and you guys get in the car and drive with our rushing. But you’ve always saved up money for a car on your birthday because you knew your parents wouldn’t buy you anything on your birthday like all those other years. So you give your mom money that you saved and fly to California. And she gets a great job and has a business and you and your siblings are having a great life. The end
