@Bloody Kawaii Buddy - the world is a big, big place full of billions of people, and somehow, regardless of all other things that could have happen, all the others paths I could have taken, all the other places I could have been, I saw this comment and I am here to tell you that everything will be ok. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but eventually it will be ok. And if that minuscule chance I would even see this message doesn’t tell you anything, I don’t know what will. as an OCD sufferer, i can relate to all of this. I've dealt with all kinds of intrusive thoughts about m*rder, r word, p*dophilia, etc.. to the point where my brain made me believe that i actually wanted to do these things when deep down inside i never did. my OCD made me believe i was crazy and that i was losing control over myself mentally and physically. my brain can come up with anything at any moment and i'm stuck sitting there ruminating on it and trying to "figure them out" which i found out was a compulsion. it's like a neverending cycle.

It's so hard to compose words. It's beautiful, in such a way, but it's oh so painful. Knowing I'm not alone helps but, it also breaks me knowing people out have to live the same way she or I have to live. If you're out there reading this, remember, you're a blessing. I'm so glad that this topic is finally getting some light shined upon it, dealing with intrusive thoughts is a living hell it's even worse when you explain what you're going through and people cant really understand. I've been going through the hardest year of my life and oddly it was after covid was subsiding. Not sure why I'm saying this here but one thing I would say is don't ever stop believing the person you were before the thoughts cause eventually they become like clouds that float away. So for the longest time I thought something was seriously wrong with my morals, and my mom was religious and thought it was demons which only freaked me out worse.
