What an amazing voice. I'm old and weary of death. My life was a blood bath. I was bombarded with death at a young age and it it continued for many decades. The cops were killing us, we were killing us, the drugs were killing us. Weariness from my own self destructive path finally became too much. I just couldn't seem to die like so many had. This tale she told had my eyes leaking pretty good. She seems so delicate and the world is so hard. Her voice is a thing of beauty.

I am absolutely in love with her lyrics and how different you can interpret them. There are many things I saw in the lyrics she did not at all talk about in this video, and there are other things I only realized when I heard her talk about them - for her, the song has a whole other meaning as it has for me, but what she explains here makes my interpretation just fuller, more wholesome. That's actually a part of the Norwegian accent! we lay much more melody in our words compared to English. I often get told that it sounds like I'm singing when I talk, and when other people talk, its sounds kind of meaningless and dead.
