Yep, in one version, she came out of Zeus' head. In the other, Zeus swallowed Metis whilst she was pregnant with Athena, and then she emerged from Zeus as if he himself was pregnant. Then Zeus got all paranoid because there was some prophecy where he was going to be overthrown by his offspring, which they attempted but failed. This means Athena was also neglected, and on several occasions was hunted by Zeus probably.

My favorite thing about this comic is that its structured the same way as a greek tale about a hero.
