The way that she patched up the tree after she got it’s sap really restored my faith in humanity. She has so much respect for nature🥰
@Julia-uh7qj4 жыл бұрын
Yes. Nature is a great tool. It provides so much for us. Everything she cuts she uses. It’s the taking without using that destroys the planet. If everyone only took only what they needed and respected the land, the world would be very different. It’s the same thing for hunting. If you kill an animal, eat or use every part of it. Show the animal your thanks by not wasting it. That’s how animals do it

@@bodybalancer The way that sap was dripping from the branch, she would've had to to stand there for days, making sure the cut didn't dry out in order to get an amount of paint enough to cover even one square on that floor. I'm pretty sure they faked some of this although it's technically possible. I mean, do you believe that this video was captured naturally in 1080p by the forest? I was born in the Philippines. I don't remember ever having made paint from green leaves and rubber tree sap. Normally you'd have to boil that sap down in order for it to be of any use as latex paint. Not to mention the fact that rubber latex isn't generally water soluble. Notice also that they didn't show her doing the roof all by herself. It's a nice thought but this video is totally contrived. I mean, doing this is possible but there are a lot of things that weren't accounted for. Where did she get the concrete mix? Did she burn up 500 kilios of shells for the lime? Did she really spend 9 hours straight carrying water from the river to the little pool to fill it up with that little earthenware jug?

@@XXX1NELSON1XXX Yeah there are many things they omit from the building. It's nice looking and impressive even to be able to do all that, but all of the wood is sawed, the white paint with the green etc. I'm guessing the fish were bought, the ditches were dug with machinery or at least shovels.
@animalcrackers88803 жыл бұрын
Original paint was made from plants :) some people paint with plant materials on here. They're just not as stable. That said, for this paint to stick in the area it's at, it should be synthetic. The color and vibrancy aren't the tells.

Um... she's not doing this by herself. There's a crew that helps her build everything and the little snippets they show are part of the editing. If you want to watch someone do it for real, go watch Primitive Technology with the Australian bloke. He's what started this "primitive" craze and everyone's copied his style. The major difference is that everyone else uses crews and machinery off-camera. Primitive Technology shows every step of the process (building an axe, making the molds for bricks, making bricks out of clay, building a kiln...) and explains everything in captions. All of those steps are the real knowledge that videos like this masquerade as.

No, the camera cuts away for a lot and there are probably a ton of people assisting. It's still cool aesthetically though.

I used to do things like that for fun growing up in the country. Make trails through the woods, build a fort with a moat around it. After 16 years my parents wanted to get rid of our built in full size pool. I as a 16 yr old girl, after the frame was gone I removed most of the columns that framed the pool and busted up the cement with a pick axe. I was into Roman anthology at the time so I left some columns, made a path with the broken concrete and built a curved bridge to span where the deep end of the pool had been. Then I covered the sand with moss and other plants like she did with the turf. It was by no means a professional job, but I liked the outcome and that I had done it alone.

That is so cool and an awesome project. Came out great and love the candles around the entrance. I would make a mattress out of feathers instead of sleeping on the wooden frame. As long as there is a waterfall nearby, then it's be even more peaceful and serene.

I’m completely speechless. This is by far one of the most incredible things I’ve ever watched... Madame you are incredible. How did you learn how to do that!?? I wish I could visit your beautiful home. Your knowledge of how to use the earth is just so amazing and magical. I live in the city and I just depend on everything around me to take care of me. Your amazing.

Damn...she built a house with a fish pond that has a bridge that connects it to the house. Made concrete and paint, painted the pond filled the pond with water and fish, oh and don't forget she did the landscaping...and here I sit debating if I should start a flowerbed or not.

Yes! Her repairing the tree was so respectful of nature. I was thinking about the tree dripping for a second and then she immediately came back to patch the area. Very indicative of the type of person she is and what her culture has likely taught her about the earth. It's a pity many people don't have anywhere near this amount of compassion for the earth that they have all but destroyed.

i like how she cuts the wild tree and bleeds it, then places mud on it, to bandage it. She is in touch with the fragility of nature.
