While Rob was sitting on a bench, just enjoying his day, he felt someone’s hand on his face. A person snuck behind him, removed his protective glasses, and poured cold liquid into his eyes. Rob didn’t have time to react. And since he was blind, he couldn’t even stop the culprit. After Rob wiped his eyes, he saw… a light. He wasn’t sure what kind of miracle just happened. But he could see again. Yet, as he looked around, he noticed his wife kissing another man. That man was Rob’s brother.
But he didn’t rush to confront them. He put his glasses back on and quietly walked towards the two, still pretending to be blind. Rob wanted revenge.

I just love these stories! It's like the mature version of the Santa Clause effect. As children, we're often warned that we must be good and kind bcuz Santa is ''always watching.'' Mean, hateful children are told they shall receive coal for their actions, whilst those who practice acts of kindness and remain truthful & honest to their parents and their peers are promised that their most precious wishes will come true. In adult life, ''Karma'' works much like Santa in this way. The blackest hearts (even though they need our love the most) will inevitably reap the rotten seeds they sow, and those who spread hope, generosity and love in their life will, also inevitably, reap the benefits of being a good person. This story really shines a light on personal accountability with regard to how those who follow their heart's compass will find their 'North Star' in the end, while those who choose a path wrought with selfishness & indifference to other's suffering will also be met with the ''bed'' they've spent their whole lives making for themselves.
