I don’t wash very often too 🤭 except myself I’m in the shower or bath twice a day! In fact next time I’ll probably put some of my sweaters in the freezer for 24 hours to extend their non-wash cycle a little further 🤔🤭 I’m a non chemical person too where I can be, I use washing soda and coconut soap in our machines. I’ve first made soap about 20 years ago (these days a bit lazy and buy it in bulk as it’s almost as cheap as making it, just melt down and add essential oils and viola don’t have to mix and wait a month) and just try and avoid as many chemicals as I can. I’ve still got eucalan wash but once that’s gone I’ll probably head on down the path you just taken, that was fun thanks for sharing 💪🏻🥰

This is such a cool video! I have made that first kind with just the borax and fels-naptha to use on carpet stains. It works really well. Esp. for pets accidents. Your videos are very good.

I read that moths and bugs are attracted to our "dirt" on wool, and that is the reason it is recommended to store items clean instead of waiting for the next season.

It looks nice, but I would estimate the cost as initial investment for all the ingredients total, since I did have to buy giant tubs of lanolin and coconut oil up front, plus the storage containers & space for all those things. If you want to go into manufacturing wool wash it's one thing, but if you're just a person who occasionally washes wool it's less investment to just buy some. That said, it would make a great gift! So there's that.

You’re totally right! Someone suggested regular shampoo than the one commercial wool wash. Found it so expensive for the amount it is
