Absolute mad respect!!! Let’s not forget… Not only is the bike twice her size but it’s also the first time on a CR 500. That alone is a big challenge for even a good sized male!!! My arms were pumped up and tight within like 20 minutes!! I was just 14 years old and had gotten my 250r in the beginning of that summer.. DEF an AWESOME bike, big time!!

Respect young lady, that kind of power takes a lot of bottle to play with yet alone strength, which is what would have got to you very quickly given your size. I was 180lb plus as a 20 yr old with a KTM495 and at the end of a 20 minute race was drained physically, the power delivery of these big capacity machines is nothing short of brutal so fair play for giving it a go and exploring its potential... FAIR PLAY.

I was 11 first time I rode one, guy made the mistake of saying if I can start it I can ride it. Honestly being the weight I am at 40, a 85 scares me more these days lol. I still have my kx60 from when I was 7/8 and that thing has been whiskey throttled pulling grown men behind like super man, crashed through my doghouse, as well as my shed. It eats grown men as a snack once they get a few in them and they want to ride the "mini" bike lol.

I'll never forget how incredibly quickly my forearms got PUMPED up and tired riding my Buddy's CR500! We had switched and he was on my '86 Honda ATC 250r and I rode the cr500.. What an AWESOME piece of machinery right there!! **My Buddy was 12 years old and had to lean the CR against a tree to start it cause he was very short, I was 14 years old and had gotten my 250r 3 wheeler at the beginning of that summer...

@@savage22bolt32 1973/1974 if I recall correctly, me on a 1973 CR125; it was like cheating in that race, there weren’t many CR’s about and they all found themselves to the front. There was a kid on a Greeves and his dad was holding him up on the staring line, I asked God to please let me beat the young lady and the kid on the Greeves. He answered my prayer!!! I’m 67 now and still riding on the street, will continue to do so until I can’t swing a leg over anymore. Cheers.

When I finally do make it back home, stop the engine & remove my helmet, this nagging feeling of 'back to reality' smacks me up the side of my head.
