I had a clown doll when I was a young child it would have scared the hell out of most people. But to me, I was only annoyed that it's fuzzy red hair was only on the sides and no baby was bald on top of it's head. So I would use a ponytail holder to put the two side pieces up together on top the clowns head and then treat it as my baby. It disappeared one day. I wonder if my parents, seeing their 4 year old nurture a very creepy clown doll as her own child for weeks on end, had anything to do with it? 😂

The problem with creepy doll horror movies is that the doll HAS to look creepy for the movie to work, but at the same time, such a doll wouldn't test well in the market, and so toy designers wouldn't have manufactured and put the toy in children's hands in the first place. Some movies get around this problem (unintentionally or otherwise) by having the doll be handmade or very old. This movie fails on this count though.
