Amanda, YOU have brought some extreme Joy to a 75 year old man who has gone for 6 day adventure trips, camping as I went with my '73 TX 500 Yamaha. You brought back the memory of cooking on my little Optimus gasoline stove and the joy of taking in a motel to escape rain and exhaustion. The memories you have created for yourself will live on forever. You need to take adventures like this while you still have your health. I have three motorcycles that do a lot of sitting these days, but I would love to try this all again. Your video captures all the beauty of the USA from places I have never been.

The best and worst part of a trip in leaving and arriving home safe. A little sore and with a true sense of accomplishment. I love your long form version of this adventure. Glad you made this for us. In 2021 my eldest sister & I (we're 15 years apart) decided to go on a road trip to states we haven't been to yet. At the end of September, I drove to Myrtle Beach from Florida & we packed up her Honda Fit (not quite a motorcycle, but close). We drove west, camping most nights with our destination being western South Dakota. I threw out my tent in Iowa due to it being old & a windy thunderstorm, rough night. Next night we stayed in eastern SD at a hotel next to a sporting goods store that was selling out their summer stuff. I got a new tent for 75% off, $40! I used it that night camping in the Badlands amongst the prairie dogs, coyotes & roaming bison, best night of the trip. We stayed at the KOA in Hot Springs SD for 3 days & did the usual sites. We drove to Tulsa to visit our cousins who had just moved there from Canada. I helped build the foundation & floor for a big shed they were building. We then headed to SC & then I went home. We went 5000 miles over 3 weeks. Our siblings thought we'd be at each other's throats, but we only had cross words once, at 3AM in Iowa tearing down our campsite (understandable). Best trip ever. I hope you continue to find the joy in life. Be safe & have fun.

Thank you more than words can express for this wonderful video. I'm 73 years old and hope to do a similar motorcycle trip if the time alloted me doesn't expire. But should the sands in the hourglass run out your video gave me much of what I hope to experience. May God Bless you and those you love. With deep heartfelt sincerity, Jeff aka "Jersey Jeff." P.S. My friend Walter and me planned a similar motorcycle trip, but just prior to our intended adventure Walter passed away.

Girl, you're inspiring this dude to follow suit - and I'm trying to balance whether I can do a full tour on a non-adventure-touring bike. I'm thinking the Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC. 20 years ago (this year) I rode an old 81' GS550 from Maine to Washington St, via Kentucky. I'm not unexperienced, but I certainly didn't do it right, nor was I really "touring" - was more just sprinting across the country. So much of your content to consume this summer and thru the winter as I plan for next year!

Such a positive/can (and did!) do attitude while being "real" through all the ups & ups & ups with downs sprinkled throughout. I have *no idea* how you physically survived riding that far in so short a time on your beautiful CB500X ... Yowza!!! My bones hurt just trying to imagine it! I loved watching your x-country (both ways!) trip. Truly enjoyed the daily-ish post ride realism. Tired, hungry and what the heck. I started riding when I was 40 and had just been diagnosed with MS. Started out on a 2001 BMW F650GS. I was terrified of it! Never got really comfortable on anything technical (off road) but then we moved to Florida from WY and sold the bikes because…Florida…but now I’m getting the bug for my last chapter to be spent on 2 wheels. Will be 65 in November and researching the best bike to make a similar trip to yours but with a bit more time (retired ya’ know after 40 years of workin’) and probably more dirt. Although I’m thinking 60% paved back roads and 40% dirt but NO single-track! Any suggestions? Be well and adventure ON! You’ll be my age before you know it - it happened to me! 😊❤

If you’ve done this already, I’m sorry I just must not have seen it, if not it would be a great subject because you really ride your equipment and I’m sure you’ll have great insights into comfort, durability, noise, Bluetooth commas integration ,,,,, Thanks, BB

Thanks Seth! The motorcycle garage tents just aren't really up my alley for trips like these, they're huge packed compared to my tent. Not worth the extra space and weight that it takes up when those wet days are really only a small percentage of a whole trip.
