@@heymaryelizabeth Great video as always! Your look with the cute blouse, split middle bun and rad sunglasses is fabulous too! I think I need those glasses in my life! Scouring the internet for them :) I also have a tip on edges: After you tape it off. Paint over the tape edge with the white wall color paint. Let it dry. Then do the green. That way when you tear of the tape the white paint will blend with the wall paint.

I love this! I sit up in bed to read a lot so I prefer padded/upholstered headboards. Shams constantly need rearranging, ugh. I want them anyway! This one made me think that creating a simple slipcover and adding padding to her existing headboard would be a great next step.

as usual, i was hesitant about the dark color, but you did it again! and it did indeed 'ground' that room. i love the red-pink/green combo, it's my favorite classic.......now a tiny critique, that will save you many tears. when cutting-in, ditch the tape. get yourself a very good 2'' angle brush and just get 1/8'' away when switching colors [steady hands, you can do it].................now your look today is just everything. love love love.........Alicia's hair and look is just super as well........hey, don't be such a stranger. really missed your videos.

@@heymaryelizabeth you don't have to get so close, just that 1/8'' or even 1/4''. your eye can't tell. the most important thing is that brush. i use a Purdy 2'' angled nylon. they are 11 bucks on amazon. keep it in good shape. i've had mine 20 plus years...........yes, a textured wall would make that tape pretty ineffective....i grew up in a family who painted every two years and thought i knew how. my friend also introduced me to painting poles. so much easier. they're only about 3 bucks for the wooden ones.
