I'm 35, had an active social and dating life until my mid 20s. That's when I realized it was pretty much pointless to date when I didn't see myself being a wife or mother, ever. I enjoyed 6 years of being single. I was always open to true love if that was on the table, but it's very hard to come by of course! 3 years ago I started talking to a guy I met randomly online, it was just a friendship to start. After a year of chatting we knew we loved each other, and we met. Fast forward to now, we got married last month in Vegas! In my opinion this is how it should be, you shouldn't be seeking a relationship.. you should be building one. You as in the general "you" of course, this only applies to those who haven't set a firm position to never be in a relationship.

Thank you for showing young girls that being in a relationship is not everything. I feel like there is so much pressure to get in a relationship and hurry through life and you’ve shown us that being single is actually normal and not wanting to be in a relationship is ok. I get so many questions and comments from my family like who are you dating, you better get in a relationship or you’ll be in your 30’s having kids, or why aren’t you dating. And when I answer them honestly and say I just don’t want that right now they literally look at me like something is wrong with me. You have shown me that I am completely normal and actually I think I am just wanting to take care of me and live my life before I deal with the craziness of dating and relationships.

I’ve had two Mirena IUDs (currently on the second one) and I will sing it’s praises forever and tell everyone I know to get one. I haven’t had a period in 10 years, I never think about it, the hormonal impact was way better than when I was on the pill, and my experiences of getting them weren’t the horror stories you read online. I really feel like people are way more likely to talk about their bad experiences with things like that online vs just being like “it’s great 10/10 recommend”. Everyone is different of course but my experience is 100% positive

I rapidly gained like 30+ lbs right after high school (change in movement levels, stress, poor diet, and I’m short, so a little weight goes a long way) and it’s so true that disregarding the number on the tag is sooooo important. In some styles/ brands, I can wear an xs, in others I need an xl. The most important thing you can do when it comes to dressing after weight gain is focus on styles and fabrics that make you feel good. Don’t get hung up on the number, it’s arbitrary, and you are not.

Gold Bond makes a friction stick...its the size of a deodorant, its yellow with a red lid. Best thing ever! I rub it anywhere I dont want chafing (thighs) or blisters (all over my feet especially for new shoes)! BandAid brand also makes a tiny one but the Gold Bond one is 4 times the size...lasts forever, I've had the same one for over 5 years It leaves no residue or streaks like deodorant might.

At the moment I’ve really been struggling being 14 as lots of things that I loved doing I don’t feel like anymore. I also have a lot darker hair than my mum and younger sister so she doesn’t really understand how much more self conscious I am about my eyebrows that grow really quickly, ‘moustache’, leg/arm hair that can be easily seen.

This is so relatable and a relief to hear someone else talk about it. Turning 30 in 2 months and have been single over 4 years. There was a lot of pressure in the beginning to find someone, causing me to find all the wrong people and then eventually I just built the perfect life for me. I look after myself, treat myself, nurture myself and do whatever I feel. I have NO desire to find someone anymore, I'm just super happy and comfortable on my own. That said, people think somethings wrong with me 🤔 I've had a similar problem with steroids lately. My hearts been having problems so I've been on steroids and like... Wow. I'm having an identity crisis because my appearance changed so quickly I don't recognise myself.

Hi IUD girly here, I’ve been on it for 5 years now and it’s the BEST! If you’re contemplating it- DO IT! ✨ I get that it’s not for everyone and I will not sugarcoat it, the insertion process is painful but it’s only a few seconds of pain. I love having no periods, no babies, and not having to take pill everyday. My only gripe is the lack of bedside manner with the IUD process, as women were expected to just deal with the pain and it’s frustrating because it’s a medical procedure and they just tell you to pop an Advil. Like no ma’am you’re shoving a piece of plastic in my cervix.

Jennica. In regards to your answer to the last question… THANK YOU. Thank you for saying this. When I was 19, I started my first long term, serious relationship. He was my first love and we planned on getting married… then, he broke my heart and I COULDN’T FUNCTION ON MY OWN. I lost ALL my independence in that relationship and it was really unhealthy. I had to learn how to be on my own again and it was so so hard. Even if you are in a healthy relationship, it’s so so soooo important to spend time with yourself because if you happen to be without that person for whatever reason, you NEED to know how to be happy on your own. I wish all young people could hear your message. I wish I had heard it before I started dating my first boyfriend.

First off I ❤ your channel. You and AJ remind me of me and my daughter! I’m 29 she’s 15. My IUD experience has been amazing!! I have had 2 so far and am about to get my 3rd in a few weeks! I got a merina first like 12 or so years ago and it was great! I took it out after 5 years and went on the shot for a few years and that was great too but I hated going to get it every 3 months so I got another one called paraguard and GIRL it was amazing and it’s NON HORMONAL and lasts 10 YEARS! I did decide to get pregnant last year and I took it out, and was able to get pregnant about 2 months later after I got my first “regular” cycle. The hormonal birth control is the only one what stopped my cycle but paragaurd is still my favorite because it eliminated all my symptoms except the actual bleeding part which was still majorly reduced just not completely. Taking hormonal birth control has alway made me a little more extra when pms-ing! They were mildly uncomfortable to get placed and removed but nothing near me saying not worth it. No worse than my normal cramps would be. 10/10 would recommend! On the flip side my daughter got a hormonal iud recently and unfortunately rejected it. -2/10 would not recommend from her. She had pretty major discomfort having it placed but keep in mind that’s with a virgin uterus. So polar opposite from me but I say don’t knock it till you try it.
