WAZUKA FAXEL the controversy was what Ed Razek, the company’s chief marketing officer and VP of marketing, said in regards to the inclusion of plus-sized and transgender models, in that he thinks they shouldn’t be allowed to model for VS because.. well.. they’re plus-sized and/or transgender and he doesn’t think that is acceptable. Needless to say, that upset a lot of people. You can google his interview with Vogue. Hope this helps!

Dutch girls have to be the most beautiful and coolest girls I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Sanne reminds me a lot of a dear friend of mine, whose like a sister to me. Her name is Welmoed, and she just personifies everything that is Amsterdam. In the sense of being bubbly, open minded, cultured, laid back, cool, funny, and nice. I travel to Amsterdam once every four weeks, I was even born in Amsterdam. I think I’m the only Emirati guy to have been born in Amsterdam. Whether you’re waking in Depijp or Keizersgracht or Prinsengracht or elsewhere. Amsterdam has that village vibe. It’s so calm yet alive, it’s so clean yet crouded, it’s so polite though people are everywhere. Hence, the reason of me escaping Abu Dhabi every four weeks, because Amsterdam is my breath of fresh air, and we all need that whiff every now and then.
