Don’t be nervous Leanna you know your teachers friends & teachers but I understand she doesn’t like school because Math tests are not fun at all because she goes to a public school. She’ll get in trouble & arrested for skipping school for no reason parents & family will get angry & get her punished for trying to escape school & earlier acting like a toddler more then being nervous because she’s faking it when she’s looking like she’s been at elementary for many years now her parents are right she’s too old to act like a toddler & faking nervous when she’s not really nervous because she knows her class mates already. When she missed the bus I would have placed her in the van and driven her to school. If I had to accompany her into school, then I would, but she would go. It is a mistake to allow her to have the upper hand. She is a child and must follow rules or face the consequences. Set up the expectations and consequences and follow through. Don’t engage with her, just take her in and deliver her to the office and then her classroom. Mom needs to become part of the united front and help dad.
