Black is from an alternative future/timeline just like Trunks and Cell. When Beerus Haki'ed Zamazu. He inadvertently created a temporal divergence in the timeline. Or a paradox if you'd prefer. One in which their was a timeline were he was erased, and one where he was not.

To explain you trunks basically cannot change future by going into the past, why? Simple answer, The timelines are like different branches for eg, the original is a tree where all z fighters except future trunks died. Now the fact that he came to the past where he trained etc and gohan went ssj2 made a branch on the TREE and that branch is growing apart from it.

The Zamaus you see physically see is the one from future Trunks timeline. If you were paying attention to what trunks was saying about his timeline being two separate realities, the zamaus in goku's body is the one from a alternative timeline of Goku's Present timeline where he first met goku during their first fight like normal but here is the difference he succeeded on killing his master gowzu and taking the time ring, but without Goku, Beerus, and Whis's interference of stoping him But here's the twist instead of thinking the way we thought with theory of goku black being a copy, zamaus did not Pull a Captain Ginyu It was an ability body switch. Present zamasu made a wish to the super dragon balls to switch bodies with goku mentally... mindful wise. Longstory Short, Present zamasu is Goku Black the same one that beerus just killed in the present And the other one is future zamaus his history of why he's here will be explaine in the next few episodes. But the way you guys post by Schedule, I'm pretty sure yall know the whole ark of Goku Black and Zamaus Off Screen by now. Oh the reason Present zamasu aka Goku Black is still alive is because he is wearing the timering on his Finger, It protects him through any changes through time even though beerus just killed him in the past. That's why trunks could not believe beerus about changing his future because it's too separate realities and the timering protection.

Goku Black is the original Zamasu from the unaltered present timeline where he switch bodies with Goku and killed him this happens before Trunks went back in time to change history and creates the timeline we see now where Beerus kills the Zamasu you see getting hakaied to prevent him from becoming Goku Black so it’s like a Big Time Loop 😂

I keep seeing people hating on little Mai, Little Mai has shown no interest in little trunks just so everyone is clear. She's only shown interest in adult trunks which is in his 30's at this point so they're close in age. Future Mai is another story cause she's probably close to 60 but I mean there's only a handful of people in the future timeline and they are both adults. If anything the writers should be getting hate for even having a romantic storyline with an adult in a kids body, but young Mai didn't do anything wrong.

Gohan is a scholar and lacks of training, married to Videl and had Pan. Trunks' Time: Goku died from a heart virus. Androids 17 & 18 are heartless bastards that killed Vegeta, Krillin, Piccolo, Yamcha, Tien, and Chiaotzu. In 13 years, they finally killed Gohan. With Piccolo gone, Kami and the Dragon Balls are gone forever. And worse Korin has been murdered by the robot monsters and he won't make more Senzu Beans.

When it's silver it means it belongs the timeline the user is in and can travel to the future within that timeline. Zamasu swapped bodies killed goku then used the green time ring to go to Trunks' timeline where he worked with that timelines zamasu

F. Trunks has it almost figured out, but I don't believe it was him giving Goku the cure that changed 17 and 18, it was him TELLING Goku that changed the Cyborgs personalities. ex: In his future, Goku was already gone when 17 and 18 showed up, gone for a WHILE. Trunks changed his ROUTINE, thereby changing how and when he contacted the virus. It could have been waiting on a door knob or a cup that he WOULD have touched at the right time if he was home more often. But because he was training and driving and stuff with Gohan and Piccolo that changed the scenario which change Gero's actions. In the future, Goku was gone so Gero their programming could have been different enough to make a real difference in how they behave.
