um, I'm not particularly knowledgeable about the Mormon faith. but it seems to me that many members of the faith, unlike many in other essentially conservative religions, aren't condoning or promoting negativity towards LGBTQ people. My theory is that it's because Mormon folks really dedicate themselves to loving their families. So many Mormons realize and show by their actions that gay people are their own beloved family members.
