Suggest you get a nylon head for the tire mounting instead of the metal head.. nylon is so much better for big wheels and wheels you're scared off scratching.

I can give you some tips. When you take the tire off start at the valve stem with both tire sides. When you put it back on start opposite of the valve stem. If you put tires on used wheels clean the old rubber with wire brush because there may be air leeks. And the balancers needs to be calibrated every time it's been moved or bought new. Maybe there are instructions for that.

For mounting tires make sure the TPMS sensor is under the head when dismounting and opposite for remounting, it helps avoid breaking the sensors which happens sometimes if you're not careful

Always start at the stem when dismounting to avoid breaking the sensor. Then start mounting opposite of the sensor.

remember to align yellow dot on tire with valve stem that shows where you need to be when fully aired up so you don't need to use allot of weights when balancing. picked up 18x9 Marquee 3259 Black Red Inner Extreme Concave Wheels for my talon.

the outer is referring to the other side of the barrel (closest to the face). not sure what kind of machine it is, but there may be a knob that measures the width of the wheel to get an accurate balance.

to calibrate the tire balancer you use that black thingy sticking out ( 6:54 ) and you put it on the outer side towards the spokes then the inner side closest to the machine then you shoulb be good. it usually beeps at you when its calibrated for each side

Put the stick weights in the barrel just behind the face of the wheel to do outer weights, that’s what I always did at work. Also you want to start with outer weight over inner but everything else looked good. One more thing when your popping the bead make sure it pops all the way in. Don’t be scared to press the sidewall

Hey Devin, amazing videos and your motivation to learn new things is incredible. Couple of tips for mounting and discounting tires plus balancing wheels: - duck tape is your friend for expensive wheels and low pro. Every time you’re scared that something is going to scratch up the wheel wrap the instrument with duck tape. DONT WRAP DUCK TAPE ON WHEELS XD. - tire lube only on tires! If you add the line to the lip (or rim) of the wheel it’s going to make things super difficult and you’ll have the duck head slip off. - you a big boy! Use it to your advantage! Let all your weight hang on the tire in order for it to stay under the duck head when mounting. - you already have a lot of comments about the tire valve stems so you Gucci on that. - if you’re feeling spicy use two tire irons but its “recommended” not to do it since it’s “dangerous”. - can’t say much on the dismount since you did everything correctly - tape weights can go on the inside and outside of the wheel rim however you can possibly change the setting on your balancer to where it becomes static and weights go in the middle. However, highly recommend to not do that XD And that’s pretty much all I have to say. Appreciate your work and hopefully you’ll end up reading this comment 🤙🏽

Just a tip, next time you need to put valves in while the tyre is on, use the de-beading arm on the tyre machine to push and hold the tyre back. Love the channel 👌👌👌

Not bad for first time tire installation, balancing is a bit of a weird concept at first but once you understand it its super easy! On your tire machine you should see different modes for different types of balancing. For most wheels that you're gonna play around with you are gonna wanna find the balancing mode where you use sticky weights on the insides of the barrel of the wheel. From there use the little arm to position where you place your weights and then go off of what the machine tells you. Im sure theres also KZbin videos that can explain far better than I can.

if you use the shovel on the side of the tire mounter you can move tire from the bead and pull the valve steam through that way and also you can use the stick on weights on the inside of the barrel just behind the spokes balance the inside of the wheel

6:42 , you have the hammered weights locations selected, you need to make the little red leds on both sides of the inner barrel to put sticky wheel weights on the inside. The way you did it, it will vibrate. Just a heads up

The inner and outer for the balancing weights are inner part of the rim away from the spokes or outer part nearest the spokes on alloy wheels. Outer for a steel wheel would obviously be a hammer on weight.

pro tip when mounting tires with larger side wall. just throw the tire at the wheel to pop inside of tire over outside bead of wheel. also line up dot on tire opposite of valve stem

Highly suggest a nylon head on the tire machine the metal ones scratch wheels and rip tire also just a heads up do you don’t break a tpms sensor on dismount have the sensor under the machine head and on mount have it across from the head and watch out for it while breaking the bead

Have to clamp the wheels on the machine not from the inside but to grip the wheel itself between tire and wheel. Lock the duck head so it doesnt move when taking tire off and pulling tire over the duck head.

Looks good on the car. 😍 Only that mounting job 🤦🏼‍♂️ You have to get the inside of the wall sitting on the top of the head on one side en the other side you have the Outer side of the wall under the "ball" of the head. Not Both under the head, you wil cut a tire and damage the wheel (like you already did) The nylon part on the head is to protect alloy wheels. For balancing you dont have to stick the wheelweight tot the outsider, Both inner and Outer is on the barrel side. One to the inner Line of the wheel, the other behind the spoke.. You don’t need to remove the liner. Just cut a portion off where it’s rubbing. Trust me you don’t want to remove that liner. The engine bay will get super dirty super quick
