I know exactly what you mean Nick about the panic & heart palpitations. I've never tried weed, or smoked anything, but one time I had an energy drink, & my brother didn't like his so I finished the little amount left of his. Then, my family made coffee and asked me if I wanted some(and I'm not a coffee drinker, rarely). Not thinking about it, I had two cups. For two days my heart wouldn't stop racing, pounding through my chest. I thought it was going to explode. I thought I was going to have a heart attack. Just like you said, Ii would get a couple minutes sleep here and there just to wake up and think "is it ok now?" for it to start beating fast again, or me to notice it again. I was scared to death, I've never been that scared. Finally over hours and hours, I started slightly feeling it getting better, but I was still second guessing it because after 24hrs, you're not sure... Pretty terrifying! I layed on my chest to try to disguise it so I wouldn't think about it any more. Didn't work...

I have to say the same thing happened to me. It was my first time smoking weed, took a toke too many and suddenly in a few minutes, life turned into hell. Rapid heart beat, suffocation, felt like time was racing, felt like a nightmare; lasted for about 4-5 hrs. After feeling better, I researched about weed and panic attacks and all that, and everytime I smoke now, I smoke very little quantity and if I feel like I'm getting a bad trip, I just keep tellin my self "You're not gonna die, calm tf down.", and it works everytime. Also, I have to add that I do get feelings of anxiety then and there , which I didn't experience at all before.

I had a weird experience once when smoking weed. I was just standing up and all of a sudden I notice my vision getting dark, then I ended up almost passing out, but I caught myself before I fell. I was shaking so bad and my heart was racing. I was so confused with what happened but a few minutes passed and I was back to normal. I still enjoy smoking after that and haven't had an episode like that since.

on the topic of why get married? I can completely understand the thought process behind the question. Everyone is going to have their opinion on the topic as it potentially can be such a polarizing topic. From my experience, I have always wanted to get married and share that bond with another person. I was fortunate to meet my wife and we have been happily married since 2009. I knew within the first 6 weeks of being with her that I was going to spend the rest of my life with her. I dont think getting married is a "requirement" for society. I have multiple friends that are in long term relationships with their s/o and they have a house and kids together and just dont feel like being married is necessary. You keep doing you and make sure that whatever you choose to do in life that YOU are happy. Other people's feelings are important, however, YOU always need to be #1. much love, keep up the grind. maybe bring Create into the podcast mix, he might add a younger perspective.

I'm glad they didn't make themselves so unhappy just to keep us happy because it was beneficial for everyone in the long run.

I stopped smoking weed too due to the same reason. I use to smoke on a regular basis and i loved it. Within the last year, the same thing started happening to me... i started getting anxiety when i smoked and do till this day. I cant take one hit without freaking out and its crazy how things like this just change. And youre right Nick, real panic attacks arent when people are tweeting about it... I smoke weed on the daily. Its definitely not a thing I like doing but I have depression, and anxiety and it helps me just mellow out. I'm also wayyy more creative, so when I edit videos I think they are way better than the ones I do sober. Idk just my thoughts, but I have had panic attacks while smoking, I smoked way to much one time and it hit me like a brick wall and I thought I was dying. But I now just do a little bit, just enough to get me at that edge.

I was telling all my friends and they were all laughing at me cause I bet that would have been hilarious to here in there shoes. but of course I was having anxiety my heart was beating outa my chest and I literally felt as if I was going to die. lied down and passed out for an hour or so and woke up feeling better. it's cool to hear from someone that went through a similar experience as me

i think that could be a problem with our generation, we lack a lot of feeling to be honest, lack of empathy and seeing reason behind things , i dont necessarily believe in marriage, but finding someone you want to go on a journey through life with, i find that connection and finding that connection could be a huge reason why people go on with life. ive been brought up with toxic relationships my whole life, but finding someone to share this life with is important, i can see how nick feels tho, but that is just a different mindset. good ass convo tho. being honest with your feelings are important af, you can be with someone for a long ass time even for life without getting married. marriage is a construct of a religious society. chillest podcast in the game

no sometimes having general anxiety can teigger it depending on ur mood before smoking. Ive had a panic attack after having a lil to smoke. I thought i was having a heart attack at the time and couldnt calm myself down enough to understand it was just a panic attack caused by my paranoia of dying and getting found out. I seriously couldnt calm down.

doza21 it's the worst man I remember when I used to smoke on a regular basis and it was great. I was talking to this guy one time and weed got brought up and he didn't want to talk about it because he said he had to stop smoking because he startin getting really bad anxiety from it. At the time I couldn't imagine getting anxiety from weed because of how relaxing it was for myself. Well, over time I started to receive anxiety from smoking bud, and now I can't even smoke without getting anxiety. I remember when weed was good for me. Now, I can't even take a hit without freaking out. It sucks so much, but hey. Shit happens. I know how that guy feels now, and I wish it on no one. I do believe that it happened because I was such a regular smoker, every single day. I took a break for about 6 months after at least a year of regular smoking everyday. I started back and it wasn't the same. I do blame it on the break. A change in perspective, attitude, and life.

My friend knew I was having one and he told me to relax and I ended up falling asleep for like 45 min and it felt like a minute. We were at a restaurant so we had to leave and it eventually went away but it was insane I actually thought I was dying.
