Is it just me or Joan really get on my nerves every single episode? She is a nice person but that’s it, no substance. Maya, Lynn, William, Toni and Ellis all had issues but they were true to themselves and they didn’t deny it. However, Joan had a LOT of issues and she constantly tried so hard to be “good” but contiously became judgemental, hypocritical and toxic towards everyone especially towards Ellis (even though i dont like him as well)

This is when you know you have your own niche. I often forget that Tracy Ellis is Diana Ross' daughter. Other than certain features, I dont see any similarities between the two as far as acting. Tracy has made it her OWN, even in movies as early as "hanging up" with Walter Matthau. Her part was very very small, but she STILL managed to make it her own as the "timid assistant" of Diane Keaton. If a person with VERY LIMITED TIME in a movie can make you believe and feel their part, that speaks volumes. At that time, I wouldn't have ever guessed who her mother was. I can respect an actor/actress like that. She didn't go name dropping like some and proceed to putting absolutely no effort into their craft simply bcuz they think that Hollywood knowing who they're related to is going to get them by. This woman is a genius at her art. Bravo Miss Ellis.

Toni was my favorite her character had so much development and well roundeness for Jill Marie Jones to display her acting skills Toni's characther didn't just have one side like most of the girls she showed her bad and good qualities on the show . She was really trying towards the end to become better which I loved . Her acting was top tear really loved her character and on top of that I could never blame her for infactuation with herself because she is gorgeous and got sex appeal. Her and Ellis Ross stole the show. This show also helped me to understand women better
