Sadie working on different race strategies should scare everyone. I've seen her run down racers whenever they go. It would be great to see her go to Paris and get world experience.
@Islandmidfielder7 ай бұрын
Would be cool, but she would have to beat out a very deep middle distance US women’s field.
@RobertJWaid7 ай бұрын
@@Islandmidfielder Agreed, she has said she would love to make the trial finals.

Great lookin field and great race. Sadie is on a different level for sure.

Tactical race. Lots of "kickers" in this race. Englehardt has learned from the experienced pro runners. Congrats!
@michaelmccafferty11067 ай бұрын
The clip will be much faster in Paris and it will be interesting to see who can kick after that pace.

God damn. Could those intros be screwed up any worse?

yeah, they pretty obviously could

Too many freaking national meets, not enough qualified announcers, officials and other personnel that know what they are doing. Rank Amateurs.

Out of focus, and a bit of problems with the exposure too. Not good at all.

I love the excitement of the announcer, almost making a boring race worth watching.

Final 800m by Sadie in under 2:09 splitting 66.8/61.7. She can probably run mid 2:02 in a properly paced 800 Amazing!!!!

Can’t wait to see what Sadie does going forward. Wish her the very best.

I saw Sadie at Footlocker SD Nationals in 2022 and she was struggling.. Great to see her break Katelyn Tuohys 1 mile record by 5 second

Excellent race strategy by Sadie. If the pace is that slow, be patient and don't take the lead early. Thta just makes you a pacer for other top runners. Wait until that final 200m or 150m to start your sprint. You shiuld have plenty of stored energy to propel you to the win. I am a huge fan of Sadie. She is awesome.

Congrats, Sadie. Edit: Zealand shoulda gone earlier, like the 2nd lap. Maybe get some separation from the pack and hang on to win. Otherwise Sadie gonna run her down every time.
@16nowhereman7 ай бұрын
Sadie would have stayed with Zealand the entire race and let her lead and at the final 200-250, out run Zealand.
@kopav22857 ай бұрын
Sadie's race strategy was run a tactical race, but don't let Zealand get away. The second Zealand passed her by she was on her immediately.

I watched this race 4 times.... Er? uh? i mean? My Sadie Engelhardt & trusty sidekick Allie Zealand absolutely crushed it in the Girls 1 Mile i meant to say.... Their fierce determination and incredible performances are truly inspiring to running fanatics and athletes all across the USA i mean. (Company included).... Watching them kick-ass & take names reminds us all that hard work and passion can lead to amazing achievements..... They’re not just competing; they’re setting a standard and showing everyone what’s possible when you believe in yourself.... Er//ummm... ?? i mean?? i really really hope & pray that these little power-house Valkyries & Sheild-Maidens keep blazing those trails i meant 2 say.... Sadie and Allie-you're motivating a whole new generation of runners to chase their dreams!!!

Coach Henes has to be chuckling, as the first and forth-place finishers are both NC State commits. I believe eventually Henes will be seen as the greatest hunter of geese that lay golden eggs. And not eating them for dinner.

Sadie toyed with this field. She keyed off of Zealand and followed her when she moved. I think if you want to beat Sadie Englehardt, you have to take away her kick.

What's worse, the intros or the rail bending into the lane on the backstretch. Lucky no one step on it and got injured.
