Nicola was overlooked for years, it's amazing that when Girls Aloud reunited she came back as the lead singer, Nadine is amazing and absolutely deserved her position but it was really nice that Nicola got her time in the sun, her voice has always been a fan favourite

Yes, after all the insults and abuse from the media and certain celebrity "men" who liked their pies cough Chris Moyles, it warms the heart to see her get the appreciation she deserves. She looks stunning here, she blossomed so much into a beautiful woman about her vocals are outstanding. I prefer her vocal to Nadine's as she may well have a powerful voice but it's not distinctive (unlike her accent), Nicola has a far melodic voice.

the thing is the band started as a Louis Walsh project and he knew nadine from Irish Popstars so the band was kind of built around her and Cheryl's scandals. I think over the years the girls realised their own potential and started pushing their own way. nicola needed to grow before the light hit her. She hid a lot due to press criticizing and things said

You didn't hear the audience cheer every time Nicola sang then who has a much more lovely voice than power singer Nadine. And her "my baby" repetition was like a verse so she got just as much attention as the others. Nadine chose not to have a proper verse, she didn't like the "meaning" behind the song. Think about that. It's a song about loving someone no matter what they looked like, and Nadine doesn't like that idea. I don't think she wanted to have an "equal" sharing of the vocal either because Nichola (now winner of Queen Bee) had a better voice. Nadine doesn't have charisma, that's why her solo career flopped in every country. I'm not saying she has a bad voice, of course not, it's perfectly decent. But nothing special. Her accent is beautiful though, so different. But when it comes to Nicola, her voice has more character and she has more presence. She stands out. That has happened as she aged and due to her experiences in life.

@@Georgia.J It’s all opinion. They can all sing, but being a solo artist is not necessarily about how good you are anyways. Cheryl (in my opinion) has always been a decent singer, maybe middle of the group, but it’s her voice, her fantastic personality, and her songwriting skills that excelled her as a solo artist. We see it endlessly that solo artists aren’t necessarily the best singers, but are by far the best performers.

I love this song the very first time I heard it. Reading comments below, I don’t understand why most hated it, probably not catchy or dancey type of music they are most known for. Cheryl is so petite. And for Christ’s sake, Nadine sung most lines from all their songs. Don’t make a big deal out of it the others had a chance to sing most in this.

Nadine has shown that she can sing in pretty much all of their previous albums as she has had over 50% of the lines in each of the songs. It's obvious that she's stepping down for the rest of the girls so that they can showcase their singing talents. That, and harmonising is one of the harder things to do in singing, so she's really just doing the important parts.
