Keep this in mind, when they performed the song on X-Factor, the single was released only after 3 days. On the Royal Variety show they were basically in "cruise control mode" which they had a couple years of practice for the song. I've seen their Out Of Control tour on BluRay and they sound great!

It feels like yesterday- this was definitely the best royal variety- not just because of the girls singing, but in terms of the overall variety, the comedy and entertainment was very good and it just felt like the most eventful one- the Queen’s presence really made it feel that more special- you compare the 2012 Royal Variety Show to the 2022 one and and there’s no comparison at all
