The saddest thing about your stupid final line is that, before Nadine spat her dummy over Cheryl becoming more popular, they were ALL close. The rift in the band began around 2006ish when Nadine started becoming hostile towards Cheryl over her increasing popularity, as well as her desire to go solo. Nadine actively started snubbing promotional events and only hanging around with Sarah. How do you expect Cheryl, Kimberley and Nicola to react to that? There’s this ridiculous myth amongst almost all Sardine fans that Cheryl drove a wedge between the group members out of jealousy and spite, and that she hated Nadine from the get go. They were never overly close purely because they were so different in terms of upbringing and personal views, Cheryl growing up on a solidly working class council estate, Nadine growing up in a wealthier middle class rural setting. They were never going to be super close but they did get along amicably at first…what Nadine’s fans choose to forget is that she started turning hostile and uncooperative with the “three stooges” out of annoyance that she wasn’t getting the same attention as Cheryl. Add to the fact Nadine hated the media and doing PR stuff, her chances of a successful solo career were effectively doomed from the get go. But sure, let’s just stick to the old narrative that Cheryl is a jealous diva who never liked Nadine or Sarah and actively turned Kim and Nicola against them, like some Mean Girls type nonsense. You stick to your little fairytale mate, if it makes you happy.

Couple of Sardine fans on here crying about Chimola being Mean Girls wannabes. Forgetting that Nadine actively snubbed Cheryl, Kim and Nicola, and said they were not friends to her but rather mere colleagues. Gee, I wonder why those “three stooges” turned distant towards Nadine and Sarah. Those two were thick as thieves, yet they get a free pass. They’re just bitter that Cheryl ended up being the most successful of the group. Stay mad. 😂
