I'm from Canada and I'm really sad that Girls Aloud never made it to North America... they would of rocked just like the spice girls. I discovered Girls Aloud watching X factor UK when Cheryl was the judge.

The Spice Girls were big and Little Mix are big there but Girls Aloud were managed by a guy whose obsession is boybands and whose only objective with Girls Aloud was for Nadine to have a solo career but then left her high and dry when she got into a relationship (and Simon Cowell who could have promoted them there was too busy obsessing over the Pussycat Dolls and then tried to promote Cheryl in the US and failed miserably as despite being the most successful solo, it highlighted that she is the least talented). North America does not know what it missed out on with Girls Aloud. They wipe the floor with the Spice Girls, Little Mix and many American girl groups who were their contemporaries.

For sure, the video concept is great, fun and sexy, girls look hot af and the song is great vith that subtle rocky yet summery vibe and their trademark cheeky lyrics. One of my favorite GA songs and definitely my favorite GA video! I wish they released full dance routine, we only got a glimpse in the shorts video after being remastered in 4K and now I wanna see that full footage! People only dislike this track because it was the song that ruined their top 5 strike (it charted at no7), and their producer hates it because it wasn't included in the movide sountrack (Herbie) which it was basically recorded for, so it kinda was an unlucky track for them but still did pretty good imo.

Yet biology gets praised for that and whilst it is the superior song, I don’t get how people dont apply that to LHS and do a total 180. it’s definitely better than The Promise, Something New, On The Metro, and yes I’d go as far as to say superior to Loving Kind, Untouchable, Love Machine, and Can’t Speak French.
