I was 14 when GA formed, every song I link to a memory special to that time, even my mum came to their concert in 2012 & knowing what lies ahead for Sarah as I lost my mum to cancer, my heart hurts for these 5 friends . They should. I said this on another Channel but they could do a Documentary about their lives "Before" & "After" Girls Aloud, then have them go down Memory Lane, visit the place where they did the Auditions, then The House, and on November 30th do an Interview then the Saturday afterwards do a "New" song where the royalties go to Cancer Research. What was so ironic is that Nadine had the Lump but came out okay, Sarah was in the same boat and died.

I live in NY (Long Island) and I discovered Girls Aloud in 2008 off of Perez Hilton's blog when he posted their music videos for "Sexy... No No No! & Can't Speak French." However, I didn't discover their full career until summer 2011 and from then on I found myself as a hardcore fan. I went on to buy all their albums, posters, DVD's of concerts and documentaries, as well as YouTubing all their interviews. I even went as far as buying their false lashes line and Cheryl's fragrance and even having the pleasure of interacting with some of the girls on social media. I can't express enough how their music is tied into so many memories of mine and how much I would (and still) make anyone I was with listen to their songs. Almost all my friends and family have at least a few songs they really like and everyone finds each girl beautiful. I had this big dream to fly to the UK to see the Ten Tour but it unfortunately fell through. Apparently, Nadine said there was a 20th reunion tour in the works but was shelved due to Sarah's diagnosis. I believe one day the girls will come together again and do Sarah justice in the best way they can. It'll be sad but beautiful and I will promise to be there for it! Rest in Peace, Sarah Harding - "Dreams that Glitter... ✨ "

I don’t think we would have thought that, we would lose Sarah from breast cancer. Then sadly died from that, then they doing a 20th anniversary. Without Sarah as they doing the 20th anniversary, in honour her in her memory and also. Celebrated a another 10 years mini reunion, even if it not a comeback reunion. Making and releasing new music.

@@Aaron-MackHartford Oh, definitely. Nobody could predict that, Sarah would get breast cancer. Then sadly passed away from that, if it wasn’t for the Covid and the lockdown. Sarah might have survive and beat cancer in that stage and would have, been with the of girls and goes a head with the 20th anniversary celebration. If the lockdown didn’t vented her, getting the treatment sooner. She would have definitely survived and been alive today, and the cancer wouldn’t have spread rest of her bodies. If Sarah gotten her treatment sooner, if Covid and the lockdown didn’t happen.

Spice girls have been close forover 20 years, Geri needed a break from the group but they came back as five and that really shows how strong their bond is because they were able to work through something like that. The way they talk about each other so fondly still and hang out is so sweet. It was always their thing, they were 5 best friends who met each other by accident and went on to conquer the world. Once their friendship shaked the group did too

Xenomania was to Girls Aloud what Holland Dozier Holland was to The Supremes, what Denzil Foster was to En Vogue and what Dallas Austin was to TLC. They made the right decision to put out Promise as the opening single off the 5th album. They stuck to their guns and insisted on it, which is brave. It seems that the girls felt like they'd found that new sound and vocals for themselves, and wanted to present it immediately. To be honest I never really paid attention to this band, though I knew they existed and saw their videos etc., However, if it wasn't for Promise I would have missed out on something interesting these girls had to offer! I love this song really much. Better late than never, but am going to buy their albums now ❤✌😇

I watched Popstars the Rivals online as a teen (in Canada) and when Girls Aloud released their first album I burned a bootleg copy onto CD (they didn't release it where I was) and brought to to school so I could make my friends listen to it lol... did the same thing with the Sugababes 2nd album actually. Just because some people (in the comments section) haven't heard of Girls Aloud doesn't negate the fact that they achieved a lot and had a longer career as a group than is typical for most popstars. That alone is impressive to me. If social media was the way it was today in 2002, who knows what could have been possible. Also props to Xenomania for producing such iconic pop tunes...

Watching this was such a roller coaster of nostalgic emotions! I remember seeing each of these incredible women for the first time, 22 years ago on "Pop stars -rivals" all the way back in '02! I was only 19 years old & newly out in the world, away from home, in my first flat! I'm now 40 years old! I'm really sad to see how full of life Sarah was and to know that she's gone. RIP Sarah, gorgeous girl! I watched you all from the very beginning, wishing you all the very best for '24 and the future! God bless! ❤❤❤❤

Same for me in Italy until Cheryl went solo, then I've discovered the rest. Also Nicola's album was a nice change from the usual pop music around. Overall they've done lots of good tracks, salut!

God look at them. When they did their first Conference, they were so young, innocent and now they are so grown up and mature. They certainly did come a long way.
