They never received their full dues as a group. Sarah and Cheryl especially were treated horribly by the press over nothing-stories. Made me so angry. As time passes, more and more people will be asking ' How come I never heard of GA?' I kinda envy their discovery of one of the best groups of all time.Countless future generations are in for a treat.

I remember watching Popstars The Rivals where Girls Aloud were created. Their first single was completely different to what everyone expected - not just another samey sounding girl band, but an edgy 5 piece outfit with a rock sounding song. Girls Aloud went on to have an amazing career with consistently brilliant songs. The Promise is about as perfect a pure pop song as you will ever get. Their writers and producers never got it wrong.
