Well to be fair fox girl could have been real until the keeper of flame mounten teleportet her away, next time we see "her" she is on the mountain comvemiantly with the fan she searched all the time and the runs with us to the bull king revealing it was red boy. Not saying it 100% is but otherwise the whole reason for the keeper to be involved is just a random side boss and teleporting someone to the fan she is searching. The other is that it realy is the fox girl, she tries to get the fan (that red boy already has or knows where it is), gets teleported away by the keeper (who secretly works with red boy to get rid of the bull king so he can have his wife) so red boy can take her place and get to the bull king

Just little extra info about this wukong universe, there was a book called tales of wokong about 20 years ago, and I think the author of the book is also one of the devs in this game. In the book he mentioned several relationships between the journey to west crews and some Yaoguais or goddess. And it’s also where he describes why the Buddhas and gods were no better than monsters and yaoguais, like how they brainwashed wukong and tang seng to gain full control on them

Wu Kong don't actually have any lovers, especially the Lady Bone Demon, she is the most evil one of them all making Wu Kong hard to deal with. Wu Kong has this vision that can see monster easily in disguise, so he immediately jump to action and kill the lady in front of Tang Sanzang (The Monk). The Monk was furious with Wu Kong's action and recite the sutra to tighten the headband around his head as punishment. Wu Kong split into four to genuinely beg the Monk for forgiveness but he refuse and told him to get away. So he did, but later was brought back to the team again thanks to Ju Bajie. tl;dr Lady Bone Demon is a b%tch and make Wu Kong angry and make his master (Tang) hate him.

Wukong is a monk, and although he is not happy about the celestial court, he still shows respect to true Buddhas. Celestial court is Chinese based myth. Buddhism is from India. Celestial court is still a part of the mortal world. Huangmei is a fake Buddha, who tried to trick people into following his false path. I hope you guys realize that. So being a monk, people tend to cut the tie to the mortal world, and having a love relationship is one of the things they try to get rid of.
