Girls Band Cry is anime of the year material. It's a show so good that makes me glad I watch the medium. Same writer as A Place Further Than the Universe (Jukki Hanada) too, this man doesn't miss.

Fax My Brother! Spit Your Shit Indeed! There is a great behind the scenes video that shows how much effort went into animating Girls Band Cry. Dear lord they rendered and animated the rice in Nina's Beef Udon in Episode 1 and you can't even see the rice on screen.

I like how grounded the story is. Each character has their own struggles and showed how they overcome those without unnecessarily long exposition

I was kinda underestimating this one as the first clip that greeted my was literally CGI. I had a quite bad response to CGI anime, but after viewing it's rating and reviews on MAL (8,5 btw). Makes me reconsider this one 👍
