I know exactly what you mean by Explorer. One time I tried it on my arm with another fragrance on my other arm and couldnt smell it at all. But I now have explorer and by itself it smells really good. Smelling Aventus made you nose blind to it because explorer is a lot more subtle

Great job, your take on Explorer was accurate IMO. Zara Vibrant Leather and Vibrant Leather Oud are pretty good for about $30.00. Thanks for the Banana Republic recommendation. I will definitely go hunting for it.

When I talk about Black Walnut Legend on the channel I always say this! It’s the closest to Aventus that I’ve smelled. Changes a bit later but the opening is almost identical. Nice vid!

Hi Erica Al Haramain L'Aventure is a nice clone and not that expensive. I Had Aventus and I love it but it's just not worth the price IMO. 2 Beautiful women testing men's fragrances, it doesn't get any better than that! ❤💕❤

I bought Aventus 2 years ago from Bloomingdale’s, I was disappointed in the lack of performance. I do think Explorer has great performance, smells like the fruitier batch of Aventus, Also have CDNIM EDP and EDT, they are the smokier batch clones imho. There is one that performs beastly, Al Haramain L’Venture, lasts 12 + hours on my skin. Great vid, wishing you the best and much success 👍

you should try Zara Vibrant Leather Oud is really nice like Creed Aventus. i have Black Walnut Legend is fruity while the Zara gets the incense feel. My fav clone will be Zara Vibrant Leather Oud.

Black Walnut legend is great. But Midnight Hour by banana republic also smells like it but with a different twist also great

Explorer isn't a clone it's an inspired by fragrance. I'd try another sample that's by far no where near what it smells like. I get no alcohol at all from the two bottles I've already owned and that bottle didn't look legit at all. Great content as always 🤩

@@stinky1214 Naaaah. It goes off in its own direction in the dry down. Plus a healthy dose of ambroxan. Aventus is overpriced and overhyped anyway. CDIM straight up clone yes.

Yo thanks! Aventus is amazing.. and expensive. I have the Explorer…you must have got a wonky sample…the one I have is def not as light as yours. I did not know about the Black Walnut Legend…and I just found some…gonna try it soon. I wear Explorer, Hacivat, and Aventus. They have similar openings, but they all differ in the drydowns. Funny, but I get tons of compliments wearing Aventus, but never while wearing Explorer, and only once wearing Hacivat.

The original Vibrant Leather from Zara by Jerome Epinette was quite strong and a very good clone. The current version smells great but lost the power due to reformulation.

@@shave-a-thon3415 no lie…one time I walked into a donut shop, and a guy from behind the counter said “dude, I don’t know what your wearing, but it’s nice”…he got no closer than 6 feet, and that was maybe 5 hours after spraying. At the bank, a woman who didn’t get closer than 10 feet said “you smell great today…it smells expensive…” that was after wearing for maybe 4 hours. The ones that came after 10-12 hours were both within a couple feet.

@@golfbuddy1969 The closest I've come to that distance is back in the latter part of the 1980's with a bottle of Paul Sebastian. I splashed on a bit before heading home on the subway and an hour later a cashier in a supermarket loudly said when I was about 8 ft. away, "I don't know what someone here is wearing, BUT IT'S GETTING TO ME!". The way she phrased it, it sounded like she meant she was getting all hot and bothered!😄

Other good clones are: Zara's Vibrant Leather (created by perfumer Jerome Epinette) - original version stronger than current formulation Afnan Supremacy Silver Afnan Supremacy Not Only Intense (strong) Al Haramain's L'Aventure Milton Lloyd's #9 Victor Reyane Insurrection II Pure and to a lesser extent: Perry Ellis America Nishane Hacivat Mancera Cedrat Boise Line all of them up along with Explorer and CdNI Men, don't tell anyone which is which and see if they prefer the more expensive Aventus over that whole line up!

CDNIM EDP is sooooo much better then the OG CDNIM EDT. The new Aventus just smells of citrus woods n took the smoke note out. That’s why we all love CDNIM EDP cause of the Smokey note in it. CDNIM EDP tones down the lemon opening the CDNIM EDT has so its much smoother n more like 2011 2012 Aventus we men miss so much.

@@Montesmike15 the EDP… the limited edition has a MB Explorer vibe longevity is lacking. Sure they are all synthetic scents but the EDP smooths out that lemon n let’s all the other notes shine. I get compliments just about every time I wear my EDP. No bull!

Have you tried layering them? Use BR for the pineapple opening and Explorer for the dry down
