According to what was datamined in the game's story files from Chinese players, Raymond was a terrorist that Daiyan was supposed to eliminate. Instead, Daiyan talked him out of becoming a terrorist and changing his life for the better. Raymond sent letters to Daiyan as well as an heirloom to show his appreciation for what she did. Daiyan would also mention Raymond a few times to the Commander (player). And that's it... So anyway, CN completely lost their marbles, with claims that Daiyan was acting unfaithfully towards the Commander (player), hence the NTR drama. A reminder that all this Daiyan character development/story was DATAMINED, aka not even officially in the game yet. So Mica Team completely changed Daiyan's story, and also removed Raymond in response to the CN backlash. This happened ages ago at this point in time. CN still aren't happy about it. And this whole situation is seen as a bit of a meme by the global community.
