Just like you, I've been a SONE for well over a decade and this music video was truly everything and more. Getting into KPOP when 2nd Gen was breaking barriers and paving the way for future groups was a breath of fresh air from the music playing in the radio. I treasure my fangirling tween-teen years on reblogging crisp gifs on Tumblr and finding community in Soshified. I'm so happy seeing baby SONES experience a Soshi comeback. It's quite amazing because they were never obligated to return with a whole album, but they delivered their promise, like you said in your previous video, and it really does feel like home streaming the music video, listening to the album, trying to memorize the romanized lyrics... SPEAKING OF LYRICS, THE LINE DISTRIBUTION THIS TIME IS PERFFFEEECTTTT!!! No one was stuck styled with a random bright hair color (why they always did Sunny dirty), the glam was gorg, and there's so many easter eggs in the MV! i've been a SONE for well over a decade too! watching another SONE react to the long-awaited SNSD comeback brings me so much joy and excitement. SNSD is the group that got me into kpop back in 2011, they've been there with me throughout my high school era and now, my adult work life era lol. it's amazing to see SNSD's growth (vocals!!!) even in their 15th year, esp they've all been busy doing their own thing. so many 2nd gen kpop groups have disbanded over the years but here we are, with SNSD who persisted until now and tried their best to give us SONEs a comeback to celebrate our 15th anniversary! it didnt matter whether the song was good or not, just the fact that they're giving us a comeback was already good enough. and yet this song FOREVER1 is really goooooood ohmygodkenzieiloveyou

I just stumbled across your channel whilst having my own personal SNSD hype week, and boy is it good to have someone to relate to! I've been a lone-wolf K-pop fan (in Brazil) since 2003, which is something I've only recently been able to share thanks to the K-pop wave. I discovered GG in 2010 through Run Devil Run and immediately became a SONE (which I didn't even know was a thing). They kept my heart warm and gave me refuge during some cold and lonely times, so to see them together again, coming back with such a iconic bop - with that characteristic SNSD joyfulness - just hits all the feels in all the right places. It's amazing to see how deeply (and perhaps unexpectedly) they've impacted other people as well - which they continue to do with such a GIFT to their fans! 🙌🏼 Thanks for putting some much love into your videos. 💛 Your passion for SNSD, K-pop and music in general really shines through! ✨

I know many months went after their comeback and hype of this. But this is my destiny - to be late always. May be story of my recognize with Soshi will not be interested for any but its uniquely at least. Truly my way to become SONE was much long and took 20 years. Surely i will not bore you all the story but only its key turns. Besides its good chance to practice in english (its not my first lang) All started in middle school 20 years ago when i loved Sailor moon. I had addicted with anime for many years because of it. This took me to JPOP. And to several acquaintances also. That people took me to like ASMR in 2010. In that time i listened the girl group which was popular in my country and consist of girls-musician with vocalist behind the drums. (two years ago i got that this group was try to adapt SNSDs success to my country... failed try) In 2013 PSY was getting popular in my country with "Gangnam style" but in my community of IT specialists liking national rock bands we just laughed on this dork dance. Now when i know what is this song about, i feel shame on that. But on that time i thought my music tastes were entrenched and will never changed. Naive fool... There had even not went 5 years and in one of ASMR video girl was singing ITNW acapella. I liked some jumps of rythm in the song and i started to googling title of song. That summer evening of 2018 i will not forget ever. Just one click and my life sepparated to "before" and "after". That night i could not fall asleep. This song literally blown up soul of mine. that was July 5th 2018 7:04 pm. I spent all night to try to know about them all that i could. Who are they, Which songs do they have, Where i could listen them, How get onto their concerts etc. At next day i managed that they have not promoted since 2017. My heart was broke. Thats like being orphan all life and one day find out that your parents live in neibor house. You come, knock the door, prepare to hug your family but someone other open the door and tell you that they sold the house and gone where nobody knows. And all what you can to do just to listen stories their neigbors about how wonder your family was. But i gone on to search all about them and continue to this day. As you understand, Lil' Touch was as balm on soul after a month of that. On third day i found records of Phantasia Tour and fall in love with Sooyoung. Found out about Jessica's fired. I was not stunned as much as people who known them in that time but i saw how it was hurt for Soshi after her left. And when i watched ITNW ballad at TokyoDome The Best concert SNSDs tears were flowing across 30 years old mans face. Nothing could make me cry for last 17 years without obviously reason. They did. I feel happy when they laugh, i feel sad when they cry. I found out about Black Ocean and how they dominated on that same stage after 5 years. Their words after black ocean i will never forget. Even made keychain reminding of that incidents (2008 -> 2013). For me it means "Never give up". Uhhh... i have to calm down. My recognize with SNSD changed my life totally. In one moment my targets, my priorities, all of my lifeway were turned over. Love to them i could call defining force in my life. For now i am SONE for less 5 full years but already i dont think my life witout their voices in my heart. Indistructable, Sailing, ITNW, Karma Buterfly etc sound in there every day. They give me power, get me calm, get me warm, make a waterfall of emotions. Despite i dont like some music styles but i love every song of Soshi anyway. Despite some people disbelieved in comeback of SNSD i always knew that Soshi will comeback in 15th anniversery with something special. I dont even remember why. Maybe Hyo spoilered that in some interview. Maybe i was sensing that in my sick mind. But i knew, believed, waited. I just did not know 8 or 9. Well, 8. Let it be so. I love them all and each one of them anyway. Well. I guess i said too much. Im not sure if you know how it feels to be alone loyal SONE in big city when old SONEs grown up and lost interest. Now i'll answer a question that you got (or not). Im from west Russia. So far away from KPOP as it posible ever.

@@JonathanMillerMusic More than just enjoying it...I saved your deep dive not just for its SNSD content, but for its quality as as an example of the art and craft of compelling video production. One of the really appealing aspects of the Deep Dive plus this Forever 1 reaction are your very personal, contextual comments. I became and SNSD fan very late (in 2019, age 59) and have devoured SNSD content since then (I now have a messy 2 terabyte SNSD library). I've never been SUCH a fan of any artist before or since. The personal connection with SNSD that you express is pretty much the same as those expressed by many fans that have commented over the years on many other SNSD related channels. I personally haven't been as profoundly affected by SNSD as you and so many others have, but they really do bring me genuine joy...as artists/performers and just as themselves, and further it makes me happy that they make so many others happy too. They aren't ending world hunger or fixing Climate Change, but they do make the world a better place just by being in it...hah! just like the Forever 1 lyric! Anyway...keep doing what you are doing, you are great at it.

Happy 15th Anniversary to all SONES and GIRLS' GENERATION themselves! I'm here after watching your previous video devoted to SNSD and now this. I should say, I am touched by your emotional reaction to FOREVER1.😊 Can I share my personal story with SNSD? Actually their album "Oh!" was the first ever album to held in my own hands. Back then, in 2011, I was introduced to Hallyu and became a huge K-drama fan. I'd won the album on a quiz game but as I wasn't into k-pop I gave it to my daughter, but she.. She cut out the girls just to play with them, like paper dolls 😭 OMG Just recently I've found out that album was 1st ever k-pop album produced with photo cards, but till the end of my life I'll pretend I don't know this information otherwise I'll be mad for a very long time. So I wasn't fan of GG, but naturally while discovering different dramas and Korean pop content I watched some k-pop and fall for TVXQ (yeah, my first idols, I love them sm). Through one of my Hallyu events I've discovered SuJu and their song with GG "Seoul Song" and I've learnt the lyrics. I fell in love with Yoona in "Love Rain" drama, but although I became "a casual listener" of SuJu and k-pop as whole, still I couldn't consider myself as a K-pop fan. I've passed through my VIP period with Big Bang and 2NE1, but nothing special. Untill 2018 when I fall for EXO. Yes, same EXO which I knew since 2012, but maybe I wasn't ready for them back then. When I've found EXO my heart has found its home. I can't even explain why or how much I love them. They are the representatives of the music, the youth, the beauty and love in my life. Yes, I'm a grown woman, with kids and a husband, I have a job, my daily life and all these stuff, but the colors which EXO brings to my days, the warmth that I can feel to them and through them...maybe it's similar to your love to GG? I don't know why I am sharing all this nonsense with you. Maybe because your words have reached me, cause I can relate to them on a unknown for me deep level? I don't know. When I started to write this long long comment I just wanted to say that we EXO-Ls maybe could feel very well what you said, but I started to rambling with my bad English. Please, forgive me! No worries! We don’t know about another mv (probably not due to schedules). They are performing on MCountdown this week, they have a whole variety show dedicated to them coming back together called SoshiTamTam!
