And compare it with the popular Girl Groups today such as Black Pink, Twice and Red Velvet specifically as follows: 1. The South Korean idol industry has always been oriented towards boy groups. But during SNSD's "Gee" and "Genie", boy groups were defeated and vice versa, people were attracted to SNSD. During that time, ALL IDOLS CANNOT WIN AGAINST SNSD. 2. Twice, Blackpink, and Red Velvet may be top female idols now, but they can't win against EXO or BTS. But during SNSD's golden year, SNSD HAD DESTROYED ALL IDOL MEN like Super Junior, Big Bang, TVXQ, 2PM. Only SNSD girl groups can win Album of the Year at the Golden Disk Award. 3. SNSD's popularity is many times higher than Twice now. WHEN SNSD TEASERS RELEASE, NAVER SERVER ALWAYS DOWN. 4. People [South Korea] will also find SNSD everywhere when they travel. In every corner of the city and the streets there are always SNSD posters and photos scattered. SNSD also became an Intel model and became a famous fashion show model designer, Andre Kim. 5. The Boys was not only my first SNSD song, but my first ever Kpop song - I watched it the day it came out, thanks to my friend recommending it to me. Ever since then, I was hooked! There's an English version of the song out there too, which they performed on Letterman in the US. Which means there's a picture of them hanging out with Bill Murray who was also a guest that day! I Got a Boy was like... a whole other world. The things about that song are just crazy. Written in 15 minutes. 'Let's bring it back to 140' meaning 140 BPM but also 1:40 on the video which was the start of the first chorus... Yuri's wearing sunglasses because she has an eye infection lol. Also, for a fun fact, it won Best Music Video at the KZbin awards - Tiffany was even there to collect it, in front of a whole audience who were like 'wtf is this'

Also, I recommend checking out Younique Unit's song Maxstep - it's a project SM did with Hyoyeon (who I can tell is becoming one of your biases - she's one of mine, too) alongside Super Junior's Eunhyuk and former Super Junior M member Henry, SHINee's Taemin, EXO's Kai and former member Luhan. It goes hard, and is often overlooked/forgotten these days! I had the honour of meeting Hyoyeon when she DJd in London (where I live) - she mostly does DJ sets under the name DJ HYO these days. Her songs slap. I'd definitely recommend Wannabe, Punk Right Now and Badster if you haven't seen them already. But maybe you want to keep checking out SNSD as a whole before you delve further into their solo stuff...

Billboard made list of song which made the decade from 2010th in 2019. BTS I need you, PSY's gang style, and GG's I got a boy only k pop songs in the list. You should watch dancing queen too. To differentiate between Seohyun and Yuri. Seohyun is the one with the powerful vocals and Yuri the rapper. However, when Yuri sings her voice is soft and sweet. She's usually the one giving you curves for days with her movements. Seohyun is more so innocent and settle with her movements. Yoona is also apart of the triples she's the one that's the thinnest of the three.

Not a big fan of either of the songs but I respect them. And these 2 SNSD comebacks were absolutely monumental: the hype, the costumes, the set design, US TV shows for The Boys and KZbin Video of the Year award for IGAB. They had ultra popular singles before but it's with these 2 that they became actual Kpop Royalty. This Dream concert performance with a fancy audio mixed in is probably the best exhibition of how massive they actually were at the time. This hype would be insane even if they were performing for their own fans but they weren't. It was a joint concert with all fandoms in the arena. They are notoriously hard for new fans to tell apart, and once they even made a short video about it lol. Once you know them, you'll wonder how you ever mixed them up! I'm really glad to see you are becoming more and more interested in them. They might not currently be active as a group, but stanning them is still so worth it. When people say SNSD are legends, they're not kidding. I don't think newer fans can even comprehend how absolutely massive SNSD was. They were like if Blackpink, Red Velvet, and Twice were combined into one group. Their album sales eclipsed all other girl groups (f(x) was the only other girl group at the time who could clear even 100k albums and they only did it once, with Pink Tape). They were the most popular girl group in Korea, in Japan, throughout Asia, AND globally. They are the only girl group who ever beat all the boy groups to win a disc daesang. They were in the top 5 of the annual Gallup poll for 10 years, and also hold the highest percentage of votes in a single year, beating out even BTS. They are still one of the most popular girl groups even though they're from a completely different generation and haven't promoted as a group in years. They were even on the brochure for the 2018 Olympics, the only idol group to appear on it. I could write a literal novel of all their achievements and all they've done for Kpop. This doesn't even scratch the surface. I've been a fan for years, and the girls never stop surprising me.

I remember that she becames the face of many brands and the Face of the girl groups. She was the Beauty of many countries, Nation's Center/Visual and Queen of Hallyu. I'm so impressed with how quickly you learned the names! You were only mixing up the triplets, which is to be expected. My tips for telling them apart: Yuri - significantly darker skin and the curviest figure (most of the time) Seohyun - Her eyes are quite different than the other two Yoona - Usually the skinniest of the 3. Also she has the perfect looks by Korean beauty standards - this is a pretty subtle difference, but I think Yuri better matches western beauty standards.
