You don't know how I love all of this. It was accident. I was looking for something similar to "Girls und panzer". I've found a anime with cover of two moe girls in kettengrad. "Huh, probably next, silly comedy, maybe parody of madmax and such". Not even close. It's pure art. It devastaed me. It was haunting me by few days and I still think about that ending. what a masterpiece.

qnaman Did you read the comic book? It has 6 volumes, and describes a devastating ending. It’s absolutely painful to know the girls’ desperate result, but I can’t stop myself from thinking of what and how they feel in the last day of their life. (It is vaguely suggested they barely came through and are alive in somewhere.)

The devastation for me has been the tragedy of the world, and to those two potatoes (after episodes and volumes of growing to love those blobs). But what also struck me was how content they have been when they're finally at the top, despite really losing everything like the people they met, and how ready they were to ease into that eventual release into "sleep" as they laid right next to each other. It's warming, and devastating. And I love it so much it hurts even now
