Good effort - hope you got the bacon buttie. The petrol station on the A38 you stopped at is 2 miles from me - glad you had fun. Its better in dryer and warmer weather but looks like you did us proud girls!!

Some great roads in the High Peak. I'm fortunate enough to live on the doorstep and have done the Snake countless times. Next time you're up here try the Strines road from the A57 near Hollow Meadows to Langsett on the A616, it's a cracker! The Strines Inn is en route if you fancy a break.👍
