Finally...someone is making a movie about women who discover courage and strength in their imperfection,women who don't need saving but save, help and uplift others,it shows the power of a mother when you drove her to the brink of desperation,the undying love for her son that will burn the whole world to ashes.

What a prediction. 3 years later, that motto travelled from West Kurdistan to spark an upraise in Iran then chanted in European streets and Parliament and then landed in the White house to form the Jina (Mahsa) law. Told you, the world is so small like a ball, we keep walk on it and meet again every round. I meet my neighbours every day when I go aroud 🤪

Instead of wasting time on dead and forgotten women in museums, how about supporting the ones alive and fighting?
@splitpitch5 жыл бұрын
@@Powersnufkin obviously they are not forgotten, that's why they are in the museums.

there's the famous Soviet Night Witches too from WWII, they flew old biplanes, with a distinctive engine sound. they flew at night, and cut their engines when they flew past their targets, then they would glide back in to drop their bombs. many of them didn't take parachutes so they could take more bombs. Their planes were wood and paper, so one hit from an incendiary and they burst into flames. No wonder the Germans hated the Russian front.
@Powersnufkin5 жыл бұрын
@@splitpitch you missed my point entirely.
@splitpitch5 жыл бұрын
@@Powersnufkin no, I understand and appreciate the second part of your comment. By all means support living women and their fight, if you agree with what they are fighting for. i disagree with the first half of your comment. women represented in museums may be dead, but they are not forgotten. Nor should they be. Do you suggest we forget everyone that dies so we can concentrate more on the living, or just the females? The purpose of remembering those (male and female) who have fought and died for a cause you consider worthwhile, is threefold- to honour their memory, for inspiration to be just as courageous, and lastly to learn from history- to avoid repeating the same mistakes where people need to sacrifice themselves for their beliefs. Women like Sophie Scholl, men like Maximilian Kolbe and too many others.

And the 243,000 views the # of people aware now of the incredible courage as well as the suffering of these women. The end of the movie carries a msg of hope that standing up for life, freedom, humanity always can pay off and the alternative is a kind of death anyway. These women scare those that underestimated them but they turned their anger into out of this world strength to fight back 💪 it should be mentioned that the men in the movie that helped them show that they are not alone there are always honorable, strong, healthy men that will stand up for justice, humanity for women, men and a civilized, peaceful world. For me as a woman these men are also heroes but the women had a lot more pain and crimes against them to overcome which makes one speechless that they had infinite strength to still overcome these grave abuses and stand for freedom.

This too is the result of a traumatized population after decades of war, incited by...the Americans, Saudi's and their arms traders. I understand the women and their fight is deeply tragic. This movie doesn't make them into invincible heroes, so I have good hopes this may wake some people up, if the movie also shows something of the context this all happens in.
@bbaker41175 жыл бұрын
I think you mean this is the result of a traumatized population decades of war incited by.... islam. if they would turn away from false prophets, this war never would have happened. You should educate yourself as to what is really going on in the world and what is causing it. There's no excuse for this kind of ignorance in this day and age. yeah no. Al Quada's plan from day one was to start wars in the middle east. The whole point of 9/11 was to trick us into getting into military morasses that would tire us out so they could launch these wars without America being able to stop them. If America had done nothing after 9/11 and did nothing to interfere with any side in the ME, the movie would be the same, or much worse.
