Props to the editor for condensing hours of footage into a few minutes while keeping the feeling of a fun journey. Or idk how to express it, it just feels nice.

That rental car dude was a real one. "WHY would anyone want to go to Oklahoma and Kansas? There's nothing there, it's just flat." But is this Road Trip Gang II trying to get to the Streamer Awards?

Yeah, as someone who has driven coast to coast and had to pass through northern Texas and Oklahoma, I would have told them the exact same thing. Driving across the USA and focusing on Oklahoma and Kansas is kind of like going to the best buffet restaurant in the world and passing by all the best dishes and heading straight for the breadsticks. Not to mention the fact that if you are taking the northern route - as they likely did seeing as how they ended up in Colorado - then Oklahoma is quite a bit out of your way. And if you are taking the Southern route which goes through Oklahoma, then Kansas would be way out of your way. At least they got to pass through the Appalachian Mountains though, as well as through the Rocky Mountains. Still, why would you pass up the Arizona dessert and maybe the Grand Canyon as well? And of course, why would you visit the USA and skip all the beautiful places in the Sierra Nevada Mountains and the Coastal Range of California, not to mention driving up Hwy 1 along the coast. But then again maybe they have already done California on a past trip. Anyway, when I drove cross country (via the southern route) I really liked driving though Arizona and New Mexico but passing through northern Texas and Oklahoma was boring as shit.
@jamesrobson83083 күн бұрын
@@SLOBeachboy they didn't have time, they weren't going straight across either, they only rented the car for a week, also jinny has already been to Arizona and the grand canyon has no internet

@@jamesrobson8308 - Yeah that is not much time to see much at all as it generally take 4 to 5 days just to make the drive from coast to coast for most people- although I have friends who did it in about 36 hours by only stopping for gas and taking shifts driving all day and night. Still, the less time you have the more you would want to focus only on the most interesting places I would think so my point still stands. And either way, let's face it, them stating that they specifically wanted to see Kansas and Oklahoma is still going to be a WTF moment for most Americans.

So nice to watch you all fumbling around and being real. That is exactly why I enjoy watching you and Tyongeee, because you're real and natural. I've seen a few nasty comments and my suggestion is remember these words. The people that matter, don't mind, and the people that mind, don't matter. Always remember that so don't get yourself worked up about the words and ideas of small people. Now, back to the fun part of the show. I wanted to give you a little piece of friendly advice. I have driven in many large cities, LA, Chicago, etc. and I want to suggest that you never ever get it into your pretty head to drive through Montreal, Canada. Just don't do it.
@alexandrevu121612 күн бұрын

It's honestly not that bad, Quebec City was a lot more scary with the narrow roads and hills driving a manual.
@Rabid-Pinocchio11 күн бұрын
I should probably clarify my post. Montreal, btw, is a beautiful city full of amazing sights and definitely a great place to explore if you're globetrotting. When I wrote that I meant driving on the main arteries in and around Montreal. The actual city steets are not bad to drive in but the highways and Main roads around and through the city are wild. Chicago is similar but more straightforward. I used to tell people from elsewhere, say Nova Scotia or Vancouver, or Las Angeles, If you have to drive through Montreal, wait until 1 or 2 in the A.M. In short, the locals all drive like they are in a Formula One race. The thing about it is they all understand the dynamics of the roads (Most road signs are in French btw) but if you were to watch the flow of traffic from above it would be a beautiful symphony of intricate interplay of cars BUT toss in a driver from elsewhere that doesn't understand the 'music' then you will have chaos and the locals have NO patience for people that don't know what they are doing. For the people that live there it is great and makes perfect sense but for the traveller it is a White-knuckle affair and can be quite terrifying, even to someone who is accostomed to High-Volume traffic, there is no time to be confused because you need to know what you are doing, and did I mention the road signs?

@ Earth is getting populated. So it would be nice if people can immigrate to places that aren’t as populated. Having a vacation allows people to determine whether they would like living in the place they have been to. Not everyone thinks alike and would think like me too.
