No, it's about women not always feeling like they can or should say what they want or how they feel. Maybe they are hormonal and feel upset because of something that their rational mind is saying is not a big deal, but it feels like a big deal. So they say they are fine, because they are trying not to be a drama queen. But they can't just suddenly feel fine. Just an example. And women are not the only sex to behave this way. When my husband is really not fine, he often says he is, in a short, clipped tone of voice. I can tell he isn't fine, based on tone of voice, and context, just like she said. It doesn't take a genius to tell when what someone says, and how they actually feel are different, and in most cases the other person isn't trying to be dishonest. They may just not know what they want or how they feel in that moment, or they are trying to not act like something is a big deal because they're trying to not be nitpicky or dramatic.
