The song reminds me of the response the American commander at Bastogne gave to the German Commander when he demanded the Americans surrender. The reply was "Nuts" indicating he wasn't surrendering.

They were lucky the germans only decided to dig in and stave the village out, the rest like the ones at elsenborn ridge had to hold out for a week until the weather cleared and the P-47s could be launched, but they least got one of the coolest breakouts when the lead elements of Pattons third army which consisted of three Jumbo Sherman's smashed the german blockades

Screaming Eagles is actually based off the Battle of the Bulge. You can hear, "Go to the Bastogne, the crossroads must hold." indicating the trapped 101st Airborne and 10th Armoured there, and the crossraods line refers to the key crossroads at St. Vith. You can also hear, "NUTS! The general made the code clear, NUTS! The Nazis shall hear." Indicating what you said, "NUTS!"
