i haven't watched this special in so so long and its funny getting to watch it back again! its so interesting hearing Mary Hammond saying, "the fact that she's in a pop group doesn't matter here or there to musical theater audiences". Now I can only speak from living here in NYC and Broadway vs the West End. But it is very very common to have celebrities gracing the musical theater stages of Broadway; from footballers to real housewives and everywhere in between haha! I think Kimberley did a fantastic job in this series and getting to watch her vocal training is a real treat. the premise is to pursue a passion outside of Girls Aloud and this was definitely a challenge to tackle! the fact that she has gone on to star in musical theater and then release her solo album of classic theater songs just proves that she getting her start here on Passions was a good move

Aw Her boyfriend is very supportive I like that...:) wow she's been with him forever, they got 3 kids now, I think that's great and rare these days keeping a tight union with one significant other for that long period of time. Bless them..Kimberley has been a favorite of mine since discovering GA back in 2013.

Apparently (in Kimberly's autobiography) Nadine's 'passion' was leading an orchestra but she only showed up for one class and then decided not to do it.

Nadine should have learned to Sing Celtic Music and join the Celtic Women on Sail Away by Enya. Also, apparently Nadine is going to be on Derry Girls. I would have loved it to be a fantasy sequence where the Main Character is now a successful Writer living in London who writes bestellers about life in Ireland the same way Alexander McCall Smith writes Books about Scotland.

Another person who was in the "Same Boat" was Jennifer Holiday in the original production of Dreamgirls as "Effie" in 1982. She was the Toast of Broadway then tried being a Dance Music/R & B Diva and things didn't work out. She worked her way out but it wasn't the same. She did have a Small Part as a Club Patron in The Movie Version though while Loretta Devine did A Different World and Waiting To Exhale.

What a lot of folks may not know is that a lot of Popstars did Broadway in The US. Lance Bass was in Hairspray playing Corny Collins. Joey Fatone, Kevin Richardson & Usher all did Chicago. Also a lot of US Soap Stars have tied to Broadway doing plays from Fiddler On The Roof, Grease, and Hairspray. Grease was mentioned on Two Soap Operas. Dean Frame (Another World) left Bay City, MI for Grease on Broadway In New York, Jeff Trachta (Ex-Thorne Forrester) did a Three Month Stint where his Character did Grease On Broadway.

These guys were very fortunate and brave to do what they did. A lot of their predecessors weren't able to have the opportunity to do what they did. At least Kimberley did well in Shrek & Les Miserables. Did you know that JC Chasez (Formerly Of N'Sync) who also wrote Songs for Girls Aloud and Michelle Williams (Formerly Of Destiny's Child) were supposed to do Jesus Christ Superstar but the Ticket Sales were poor so the Show got cancelled. I hope they can do another Reunion Album next year. I realize that they are all busy with their Children as well as outside projects but life is too short to be petty and hold grudges.

Yes. If she did, she'd be following in the Footsteps of other "Icons". Yvonne Elliman who had the Hit Record "If I Can't Have You" from Saturday Night Fever played her as did Agnetha Faltskog of Abba and Siobhan McCarthy (Ex-Roison Conor Bad Girls), who played The First Donna in Mamma Mia also played her. If Nadine knew how to Act, I'd love for her to do The Derry Girls with Siobhan McCarthy.
